In-Game Events and Gatherings

After a blazing season filled with drama setbacks tears and laughter we at TVP would like to invite all the inhabitants of New Eden to celebrate our 3rd Anniversary. There was a major confusion on our part which I blame on too many drinks killing off brain cells which caused a time distortion field to be generated. We actually had to confirm with the founder of the community that this was our 3rd anniversary.


We wouldn’t have been able to take this momentous step in our history without the support and trust of our pilots and FC Team. Times were hard recently but with a bright and shining future ahead with lots of steady and gentle changes to look forward to in the future. There might be times when we look down but not for long, as we always recover and survive with the perseverance and dedication of our community. The ups and downs of people leaving and older & new people returning are always interesting to see in a community as large as TVP. Especially with the upcoming Phoebe changes which have us giddier than a kid with his first super tackled.

Some general info for people not in the know of the TVP community.

- The Valhalla Project is a shield incursion group. Shield T1 BS's / Pirate BS's are our primary workhorses with T2 Shield Logistics for support.

-We are primarily focused on Headquarters fleets and Elite Vanguard fleets.

- We run 23.5/7 Non Stop as long as numbers permit. So whatever tz you fly you will find a fleet running.

Starting from 21st October 2014 and continuing to 28th October 2014 we will be having our 3rd Anniversary Bash.

So without further ado the below are our events for the upcoming anniversary.

16th - 18th - 1 x 6% Hybrid Damage Implant [Each]

The person buying the most tickets will receive a PLEX.

The Rules :
This lottery is open to any and all citizens of New Eden.
Corporation to Send ISK to for Buying Ticket : TVP Raffle Corp
Start Date of Lottery : 21st October 2014 11:00 EVE Time Onwards
End Date of Lottery : 28th October 2014 at 11: 00 EVE Time
Lottery tickets cost only 5 million ISK each. There are no limits on the number of Tickets a person can purchase.
The Eighteen winners will be selected by random draws (via Chribba's dice), on the 29th October 2014 and will be announced here in this thread.
The first selected winner wins the grand prize, the second selected winner takes the second prize, and so on and on and on
Only One prize win per person
More prizes could be added at a later date.

Last Man Standing:

The Last Man Standing was a much enjoyed event last year, But with a incursions twist to it. You will be basically getting into the fleet with any ship of your choice, cruiser and above tanked any way you like it and we all enter site and see who can stay alive longest WITHOUT any Logistics support. Frigates are barred from this event. Self Repped Ships are allowed if you can actually tank them to survive a HQ Site. Running away from grid does not really count. On a side note please be aware any ship brought WILL be lost. This is a test of your craziness and fitting prowess. More creativity can be expected with the changes that have happened to EVE over the past year.

Schedule : This event will be run on 24th October 2014 [Friday] & 25th October 2014 [Saturday], roughly 4 times to cover different time zones. Exact timings would be available in TVP Channel MOTD.

Trivia Q & A:

Completely random questions which maybe eve related or maybe related to completely off the game topics like TV Shows and such could find their way into the TVP Channel. There is no timeline or schedule for this. Its completely up to the person running it to decide the cash prizes for this event.

Hunt the FC:

Yes, one of the events from last year that did find some interesting response from pilots. Yes, Scanning is involved. Yes, FC can be hiding it any type of ship in any system in the current incursion focus at that time.

Prize : 100m ISK

Schedule : This event will be run on 24th October 2014 [Friday] & 25th October 2014 [Saturday], roughly 10 times to cover different time zones. Exact timings would be available in TVP Channel MOTD.

PVP Roam:

Traditionally most of our pilot base has been a purely carebearish group. There are of course the hardcore PVP Bittervets who run Incursions to fund their PVP addiction. This roam is dedicated to one of the truly fun parts of EVE. We hope that even the people who have never pvp’d before step forward into this adventure to explore a part of EVE they have never seen before. Fits will be cheap and T2 fits. Not Expensive stuff.
