You know, when you do one and only one thing in a game, it does tend to put you at risk of not playing that game when you either 1) get bored of that single activity you engage in, or 2) are unable or hindered in that activity. So, what do you even expect to learn by posting about this...? Your post has about as much use as an Echelon.

Perhaps you should find something else to do other than mine ice? Mining is one facet on the jewel of EVE (though generally a boring activity). I see all these posts about why people 'don't play any more' and it always seems those players have chosen to either play the game in solitude or pick the most tedious mundane things in the game to occupy themselves with; both will lead to eventual and inevitable boredom.

Make some new experiences for yourself!

i had a Blast mining, made great $ and with absolutely zero effort.

i didnt realize i would lose that luxery when i joined fw and pvp'd (died and got lp lol)

so now my game is just to get LP i guess, which im not sure how to sell with juggling these 2 sites and sending i t to the right market, ect...

i also jus lost majority of my money from listening to someone in my alliance chat. my own fault for listening, i had my safe rout eset but he insisted i check out this '24th imperial crusade' lp store, wentdown 1 level. andhe was gone before i even dockedd. then i goto leave n deaded. i shoulda just kept doin my own thing but now im broke, cant mine like i use to and ppl told eme to get FRIGs to level 5. so now i jus fly around ****** frigates with level 5 upgrades and fling glowsticks at other ships.

id ask for your money but Really... for what? to continue doing fw's in a possibly better ship??
maybe some good defense ships... but then what?

i thought eve was amuch more indepth game but im starting to see it for what it truely is.

anyone kno of something that Goes somewhere? idk y i would putmore time into this?
what am i missing?

should i have mined ice and got dual accounts at least and then.....what?

if you know whats good, please respond. and to the people who mightget angry and fussy, dont bother to respond with anger or cuss words. it only furthers my point of view lol.

But this sounds more like you were not ready for full on PvP or FW.....the best you can do there is find someoen in your group that takes a handle more on training noobs. Join a fleet, get invested into things. The other day a friend of mine....his FW group raided a wormhole and made of with billions of ISK in stolen ships to include a carrier.

FW has the oppurtunity to get involved more with EvE's rich Lore and ability to RP, its not some twitch game that you can just jump into or you will keep dying constantly. PVP requires dedication and a willingness to learn tactics and strategies, fits, counters.....lots of stuff. and if that sounds like im saying for to you to enroll in Westpoint....well its like that with every thing else in EvE.

IF FW isnt for you though....go back to your mining if you wish....i suggest getting into industry and then supplying your current group of friends.

Or try ganking out.....learn how to gank....so you can know how to avoid being ganked.

I guess in short dont give up yet....there are plenty of things to do in EvE...you just have to find your niche. And then spend time developing it. Just dont stick with one thing.....mix it up every so often.

Ice mining is fun. Turn up with an orca and a few friends in skiffs. Much hilarity ensues as a miner bumper "definitely not associated" with the local ice miners targets your orca in an attempt to disrupt your operations.

The isk is shite, but the hilarity makes up for it as well when your orca "accidentally" starts bumping into the other orcas.
