I'll be totally honest, I can't think of one person in the game that would choose any of the items listed over a remap.

I agree, the only thing on the list of gifts being of any use, was the remap. rest of the stuff is useless.

Changing the remap gift to a skill points gift might be one solution, if fixing the "free" remap mechanism isn't feasible by the 22nd (which is what I would suspect).

It might also be easier to balance, in terms of relative value, with the other gifts. A remap gift is an indivisible unit of 1, whereas the number of unallocated SP in a skill point gift could be set anywhere from 1 SP and up, to reflect a couple of hours or days worth of skill training, as desired.

In my point, the only thing ccp should give to eve is a certain tool,just as eve itself. Whatever it is, there should be no restriction to to anybody anything in eve but the object itself (the gift in this time).
The removal of "remap" is obviously beyond the basic principal of eve. That actually divides the whole sandbox into 2 parts, one with the gifts chiose contain remap, and one with the gifts choise ex contain the remap. And this is an unexpected interference from CCP rather than a game mechanism.
Whatever changes or improvements you may make, just stick to one thing--keep the sandbox a sandbox,which makes eve the eve.

CCP made a smart decision with Crucible. They listened to the players. Listen to everyone in the forums now please, and either give everyone a free remap (not a remap timer reset), or take away the remaps already handed out. I pay the same amount to play this game as the people who received the gift. It should either be available to everyone or to no one at all.

You can´t image how it burns, last time I got mere 2 weeks faster remap, where others got 2 or even 3 YEARS worth of waiting time.

And you are right, I do pay the same as everyone else, so if they mess up like this, again, I might go to fanfest next year just to beat them up until they hand out my (by then) 4 missing remaps. -.-

Still, I hope for the best!

The reason I really liked the gift remap and chose it was because I have alot of science skills and fitting to do before I start the two remaps I was given at character creation. So I thought since it was only save me 12 days this gift remap it was a gift one.

My suggestion is to limit the time of this gift remap but make it so it doenst cancel remap clocks and they get a full strength remap when the 12 months hits. Maybe 1/2 year or so, gonna use my gift one I think for 67 days only, before I move on.

Wow not happy at all. Go into account page to redeem this item as its the only item worth anything. I have the destroyer bpos, I have access to all the L4 and LPs to redeem as much ammo as I need. I can buy boosters and I have +3 sets kicking around. The ships are just collector items, of which I have quite a few already.

Really not pleased right now at all.

Have you heard anything I've said?

Honestly I would take the timer reset on 2 of my accounts over no remap. I think it's the best gift up there because I love me some remaps. :)
