Ive bought a toon with an offensive name i just needed it for what it was
trained for and it was easily affordable

What are the chances of Myself making a petition and requesting a name change
to amarrcitizen?????? and getting it changed


Also if the name change is successful, is any previous forum post still bound to the character with the new name?

there its done, now then if its not changed do injoy your epic name and you sould make 1000s of posts useing it ever time you want to post

All automated intel should be removed from the game including Instant local/jumps/kills/cynos for all systems/regions.Eve should report nothing like this to the client/3rd party software.Intel should not be force fed to players. Player skill and iniative should be the sources of intel.

If you purchased a toon with an embarassing name, you can (IIRC) request that it be changed via petition, but be sure you rename your toon to something you want to use forever -- you can only do it once.

And yes, your old character's posts will still be bound to the old name -- nobody gets a 'free pass' to escape a bad reputation.

I can't get rid of my darn signature!  Oh, wait....

Really now? That's offensive? You're playing in a game where the lore has several mentions of mass murder, torture, blackmail, prostitution, extortion, cannibalism, more torture, murder on a cataclysmic scale, and people who fly in 'pods' and are recloned each time they die with all their memories intact, thus "stealing" the life of a perfectly viable, blank clone, leading said people to become out-of-touch amoral warlords...

... and you find the word "****" offensive???????
