I am a newish player to Eve.

Do not really play that often but i was in Dantumi the other night trying to get to Highsec When i saw a lot of people in system, Stuff Reinforced.

Saw Shadow Cartel and some other groups.

Anyone know what was going on? Checked the killboard seems there was a lot of fighting with Pies and Caldari + Shadow.

Something kicking off?

I was more interested in how Caldari Held off Shadow + another fleet but wont fight us.

Shadow Cartel, from what I have observed in my time living... somewhat near Dantumi, like to operate like a mini-PL. They roll in with force, smash a bunch of stuff, then kill pilots until they get bored. Most folks just dock up or run, but FW pilots have been roaming there lately and less on the Isho pipeline. Me, I like to hunt stragglers.

A group of former Caldari Militia pilots decided t attack their once-upon-a-time allies. It's been going bad for them since.

Shadow Cartel was just in the wrong place at the wrong time and decided to take the wrong fight.
