as someone who recently started eve, i could use the help. i have lost everything in pvp and recruitment scams. i would gladly take anything as i dont have means to pay more then the monthly sub. as far a learning to earn my own stuff. i have. but i have zero assets or money now. i tend to sit in the station asking for help. eve players are so rude that the help they offer me is in the form of bounty. so please donate some to me i am deserving and in need,

seeing all those "can i haz" beggars, i suggest:

a) keep the stuff maybe it gets better.
b) blow it up in a big big fireball

this is fine, will keep inflation down.
If you have isk, i suggest you buy plex, prices are rising, its quite a save bank.

You are right:
"something given has no value"
So do not give your stuff away, it will not be appreciated.

You people are constantly so bitter and hateful, even to someone who's posted a benign thread like this. Your IRLives must be miserable...daddy issues, daddy issues all around I bet. Pathetic.

By their fruit you will recognize them.

I dont have to time to wait arround for hours for another ice field to appear. Now all my accounts are closed. I still have billions in my accounts so I could play for years for free. Now I only open an account to see what kind of new ships I can buy and take them for a spin.

I dont think would be fair to give away my stuff. How would you players learn the meaning of earning your own stuff!!

Giving away your stuff also screws up the market for new players. A lot of people **** and moan about "trickle down economics" but the reality is that if old players act like a self imposed government on controlling market prices, then new players cant increase the price of their sell orders and profit more than 1% isk at time, leaving them forever in low price purgatory. The same is true of people being charity alliances or corps that dont charge their members. What they're really doing is shouldering the entire cost of running and growth themselves, and when you have more charities than actual working businesses, the economy stagnates.

If none of this were true, trading and other industry would be as profitable as mission running by now.

Quoted so you cant erase it when you realize later how much your own words put you in that box.

Don't kid yourselves. Even the dirtiest pirates from the birth of EVE have been carebears. They use alts to bring them goods at cheap prices and safely, rather than live with consequences of their in game actions on their main, from concord to prices

Way to be bitter and hateful to all the bitter and hateful people. You sure showed them!

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

You deserve something from us? You're not entitled to anything and nothing is more pathetic than a beggar.

You should look up noobship challenge, I made enough money to fly a faction-fit hawk in a single week from using my brain and applying myself in the right areas. If ever that thread had a point this is the day.

OP has some kind of ice fetish.

Firstly, I have two accounts which can generally mine around 1,000 units of ice a week. I don't see your barge in those ice belts.

Secondly, what is your obsession with ice? Maybe do some asteroid mining? Not a lot of difference isk/hr wise and it's almost exactly the same action.

Finally, here's what most of your post sounds like:

"Waaah I like making easy isk and other players are making it harder to make isk waaah"

Here's an idea for you, MR BILLIONS OF ISK,

If you love your ice mining soooo much that you just can't play without it why don't you pay a corp to suicide gank all the miners that take your ore, or get them to declare war on them all, take them out of the game.

Finally finally: you should probably leave your two man corp because someone should really wardec you indefinitely to ensure that you never mine ice again.

A few years ago, I lived in Tribute (before Goons came and took it, grr goons and all that). I ratted Guristas Forsaken Hubs like their was no tommorow.. with my Vindicator and 2 FoF missile Tengus I pulled in 230+ mil per hour for very little work ('hardest' thing was restarting the FoF missile launchers every 5 minutes or so after a reload).. A {LEX was a relaxing 2-3 hours of drinking beer and watching football on TV only having to restart missiles and glance at local form time to time.

Can't do the same now. Since then CCP has nerfed tracking enhancers, heavy missiles and added frigates to forsaken hub. With the same set up I'm lucky to crack 140 mil an hour (using 3 freaking clients). A PLEX is a maddening 5+ hour grind now (ok, still not bad over the course of a month, but worse than it was).

It's the nature of EVE that things like this change. CCP never told me "you will be able to do the same thing forever with the same results" which is why I haven't gone insane at the lost income potential various nerfs created for me in null sec. Rather, I learned other ways to do the same thing, now I'm blitzing lvl 5s in low sec and doing faction warfare missions.

Your first mistake was claiming to PLAY eve. Having 3 accounts just to farm "ICE" and taking ships for a spin doesn't really count as playing. Stop being a carebear and take part in some of the better aspects of eve. Besides, for a game you don't support whatsoever monetarily you sure do QQ a lot.

Some of the comments here are just simply stupid...

I keep hearing EVE is a sandbox, you can do whatever you like.

This guy wanted to mine ICE and do nothing else. But every critical fewl is running him down and telling him "you aren't really playing EVE unless you play like everyone else, there is so much more to do in EVE."

So what? He wants to mine ICE or quit.

My advice to him is the same advice for myself. If quit, I will Biomass with all my ISK and gear. No one gets a thing...

Do people really still not understand how PLEX works? Really? In 2014?

OP makes multiple references to "mining ICE". I'm pretty sure Immigration and Customs Enforcement would call that a terrorist event.

You mean the ones that were rolling down your face and that made you wanna unsub?

So what you say is that you continued playing out of spite... even tho you were through with the game?

Cool! Blink

You can literally fly out that station in your pod... dock into the next empty station and automatically get a free Rookie ship with a gun and a mining tool.

Do it again and you have a small fleet of fighters/miners instantly.

With that im pretty sure you can do lvl 1 missions (maybe not all of em though) or just mine ore with the tools and sell it.

All this ^ ... just in case you really are in trouble and stuck.

Good luck out there anyway Blink

Burn your assets with style; give ISK to Chribba and ask him to setup a Titan burn/bash event opened to frigates, like in old times...
