OP thinks truesec is a metric of danger, there's the misunderstanding.

Ok.. NOW we can math this thing out. Seeing as that Azobé is a dense hardwood, we can assume that we wont have any hole splintering or tearout as we approach the end of the hole. Ill go ahead and assume that the bit is a quality American manufactured piece and not a cheap one, so we can assume that the flutes are true and centered. If we take into account the tolerances specified above, and a small margin for error due to stacking of tolerances and the quality of the retrofitting, tolerances in programming and general skill of the programmer, we can safely assume that a system with -0.07 is indeed ******* Nullsec.

You are Marisa Tomei and Paranoid Loyd is Joe Pesci. I am watching this movie for the first time and am wondering if you are going to take your top off.

Probably not, but I can almost guarantee ill win an academy award that many will argue was a mistake by the presenter.

That was because she took her top off for him.

Its players like these that are the reason we cant use "The Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch" in Eve.

If you have a 5/4 board milled to 1" and take .93" off what do you have left besides a bunch of saw dust? Blink

As it has now been confirmed that a -0.07 system is in null space, is a -0.09 system more dangerous? Cool

That depends entirely upon how you define "dangerous".

If it was elitely dangerous, more than likely you would be spending a **** load of money just to be a glorified beta tester.

But if you define danger by the actual amount of danger you are in at any given moment, seeing as that I routinely fly into null in nothing but fresh characters in unfit noobships and are able to routinely shut down entire systems full of ratters simply by being in local, and have yet to this date suffered a loss at the hands of a vengeful prober or angry industrialist with d-scan skills and the ability to warp to a planet, id say enjoy your time in harmless **** talking fluffy bunny land.

Seeing that both -.07 and -.09 will both be rounded up in the system to -.1, one could safely say that both are equally "dangerous".

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

OP, sec status is not a measure of danger, so you gotta be trolling or not reading replies.
-1.0 is safer than 1.0 under some circumstances.

Dangerous is a relative term with many variables. So, maybe.

Thanks for the link, but it doesn't really give me any answers.

System B-R5RB where I am heading for has a security rating of -0.07, and several of the surrounding systems also have security ratings of -0.0n.

Really? No one? B-R5RB has a security rating of -0.71 and I can't understand why you keep typing it as -0.07.

Not to mention why are you even going to B-R5RB? Titanomachy? Be sure and show up in something pretty blingy in honor of all those titans lost.

1, I've never been there before.

2, I've never seen a Titan before.

3, I want to see where the biggest Eve battle to date took place.

I currently fly a Corax. Is that 'blingy' enough?

Which explains why we have been getting "excel updates" for years; devs are still fixing basic math errors made since the turn of the century.

I went to B-R5RB not long after the battle, before the monument was put in place. I flew a Probe fitted with a microwarpdrive and an improved cloaking device. Eluded three gate camps going through Catch and Immensea. Got caught by one on the way back. Was an interesting trip; I'm not often in the southwest. If you fly Caldari ships, I'd suggest a Heron rather than a Corax.
