When I do find an ICE field thier are so many ships mining that Im lucky if I can fill one mining ship let alone an Orca before the ice is gone.
Alternatives:

1) Low-sec ice lasts all day.

2) Mine ore using only Mining Drones or a Mining Laser 1 so your reading is not overly interrupted.

3) Move far away from the hubs - I've seen some ice fields with only 5 miners.

4) There are some high-sec islands with ice fields that might be less crowded.

Hey now that's not allowed. Carebears are only allowed to mine ice near Jita and nowhere else. The rest is goon territory and other nullsec entities.Roll

I am an avid reader as well. So I understand. I often have my kindle open while waiting for fleets to depart, running about the EVE universe, and doing the other things goons do.

Collecting ships is rather like buying a top of the line sports car and never driving it anywhere. Why would you do this? You could use those ships in the pursuit of better emergent game play and explore other things in EVE. Furthermore, using your miners to pay for PLEX to play for more miners reminds me of those 1980s American anti-drug commercials. I mine ICE, so I can enjoy the game, so I can get more PLEX, so I can maintain my miners, so I can mine more ice.

Stop tormenting yourself this way, there are plenty of players in EVE that will gladly pod kill you and cause you to feel abused and hurt for free. CODE and MINILUV for example are fine upstanding space citizens that will fulfill all your darkest desires of self torment while playing internet space ships.

It appears to me that you are simply suffering the life that you chose in EVE online; being a poor unwashed space peasant. Your accounts are closed because sometimes the dynamics of the space market and their regulations (game mechanics) change. You only did ice mining and didn’t explore the wide variety of options that EVE online has for players. SOme examples for you;

• Join one of the renter alliances; explore and exploit null-sec space. Learn to mine while under threat of violence.

• Try Low-Sec mining and dodge pirates while being more profitable.

• Delete ISBoxer and learn to actually do things yourself.

• Find a group of people to work with in high-sec and interact with the larger EVE community while mining as a team.

• Stop being the root cause of why the EVE online universe needs James 315, savior of high-sec.

These are just a few of many ideas that if persuid, will brign you out of your position as a space peasant.

As though I would want you space peasant welfare checks, you think too much of your meager ice miner holdings, that seem to have disappeared for the most part. I and countless other like me have already ‘earned’ our way in EVE online though violence, interpersonal relations and working with others toward our own goals and the goals of others that are mutually beneficial.

TL:DR

CCP ruined my AFK farming ability and now I actually have to play a game.

Of course it wouldn't be fair to give away all your stuff. That's why giving me just one billion is the thing to do!

I actually do not believe you. So you mined ice since almost beginning of eve. Now that the ice fields are well not what they used to be... if that is all you know then that is your fault for really not playing since almost the beginning of eve..... you did read a lot of books though.

bye no one will miss you

a wild Jackson has appeared! P

anyway, i used to be a ice miner i used to be a ore miner, now i pretty much just do factional warfare i might mine ore sometime here and there

heres my point, find things to do to enjoy your self, u can't rely on ccp for anything if u been playing for a decade u should know this, but i do hear you out, i myself am 11 years old in the game (haven't spent nowhere that much time actually playing either).

see heres the thing, you are simply burned out so you feel like you are too lazy to do anything else, im in that same vote, you don't have to play eve everyday though just get on when you want to do what u want for a hour or few hours here and there and find other games that satisfy your interest.

Heres a room for thought though, a new game called ELITE Dangerous is coming out with Mining (Finally!) on October 28th when Beta 3 hits, you can give that a try.

and remember a game is A GAME not a JOB, and you certainly aren't its slave either! if you aren't playing games for fun then when u are on your deathbed you will regret your decisions on life and die unhappy

Before you cancel your accounts...............

What if I told you could have all the ice you wanted...........

If you swore me your undying fealty and faith............

Supplied 3b in transfer to this character for this juicy info..........

And bought a mining permit for each industrial related character, for the low, low price of 10m isk a year, and your allegiance to James in your bio...........

Then would you be interested in mining ice again?

And if not........

Stuffffffffzzzz...........

I needzzzzzzz.

Lol

What the OP is saying is that he hasn't really been playing EVE at all, ever. And now that he's forced (...) to perhaps actually do a little bit more he's going to quit. Please OP, try to explain to us what we would miss about you being gone.

Sounds like eve is a big stress ball for you. None of the solution to your problems require no effort: I'm afraid the multilpayer PVP market has finally caught up with you.

Move to quiet 0.0 space and you get tons of ice to mine and lots of people in coro to chat to.

I see your problem right here. In contrast, I like to do a lot of different things that EVE has to offer instead of just limiting myself to one, which is why I play EVE a lot. Your problem is not that you can't find ice to mine, your problem is entirely self created, and it's a problem with you, not the game.
