EVE Vegas attendees got their items on Friday according to plan. It was never technically an option to distribute items to stream subscribers until after the end of event so the plan was never that those two groups would get the items at the same time.

But that's unrelated to this delay which we are extremely sorry for and continue to work towards ending.

So I ask again:

WHY???

Why could the item codes not be sent as soon as payment was made?

There are mostly technical reasons for that.

We sent out items to IRL Vegas attendees on the Friday. It was best to it in one go with a mass mail after sales had closed. Sales started months ago and the items were ready about two weeks prior to the event after having been in a planning and production pipeline for some months before. Delivery on ticket purchase would therefore never have been possible for Vegas ticket buyers.

For Twitch, distribution had to take place after the event since sales continued throughout and there was no on-purchase delivery system in place. So we decided on Tuesday to be safe but we all know how that worked :/

Again, our sincere apologies for that last bit, we're working on it.

So.... how completely useless are these Twitch employees that it's taken this long and still no codes have been sent? They could have literally sent them all by now by manually typing each message. Not happy.

3PM in UK and still no code. Twitch is seriously taking a **** on their customers.

CCP - GG and WP on letting them to handle the codes.

Just my 5 cents.

Relax folks, while annoying this isn't exactly the end of the world.

I sometimes get the feeling that Twitch is not quite as big as most people assume they are, at least not yet. I give them a lot of credit for providing the service to the gaming community that they do, but I think they are still experiencing a lot of growing pains.

It might be a bit late in the game for it now, but perhaps this should be a sticky until the situation is resolved.

COnsidering they were bought up by amazon for 980 something million you'd think they'd at least have basic functions like subscribergifts set up, because even at that scale it's really notr difficult to do at all.

Well, I am really starting to think that it is time for me to send a message in the only form that will get Twitch's attention (Since they seem to totally ignore any emails about this issue and can't even be bothered to send out an apology or an explanation) and file for a chargeback with Paypal.

Maybe if enough of use do that then they will deign to show us the consideration of a response.

Well, one thing is for sure: I'm not sending a dime for Twitch anymore. Even if the package comes with a Jennifer Lawrence's clone.

Since we're now on day 3 I'm beginning to think theres something more to this than just a tech who doesn't know how to do bulk mail... I sure hope nothing went missing...

we could use the honor system. Guard posts a master code, and only people who paid for streams redeem it.

I was in Vegas for the event. I haven't seen an email with the code, are live attendees being emailed? I'm seeing that live attendees were supposed to get the Mega last Friday, but I haven't seen mine yet :(
