Alts still are still viable then during the peak our hours of gametime then no? Make it simple to make sure that the War Target is watched during High-traffic times?

And if you think that 120 man alice is completely not wrought with Alts, you are on the near side of incredible of navie.

Allow me to put the situation in detail.

This player is a highsec griefer. He wardecs corps that recruit new players beginning in EVE.

He is a one-man corp, but is full of alts outside of it. He stays online all day but docked, so we can't know when he will attack.

If we show interest in fighting, he just stays docked and talks **** about "unfair fight" (as if it wasn't what he does). We cannot fight anyone else, because he is alone, we only have one possible target that stays docked most of the day.

If we are done giving him attention and go back to our own business, he undocks when noone is looking and go gank some corp member that is isolated from the older members of the corp, usually mining alone and mostly only the players that are really new to the game and have neither SP or experience to deal with the situation. In short, he is a coward.

His years of accumulated SP allowed him to fly a ship fit for extreme survivability, we calculated he has over 1200 HP/s of armor repair while overloading, and I'm not even considering the adaptive armor. Even with our combined DPS we could not destroy him. If he senses he is going to die, he just stops attacking, tries to survive enough to dock again. Yeah, he nevers go far from the dock when we are together.

He stays online with at least two known characters, one is Bassics, always docked with a Locator Agent looking for possible targets, and Rompetrol / Najaaraq that he uses as scout to go see ahead if its not a trap. He doesn't take any chances, he only attacks when he knows he will win.

Basically we are dealing with a bully and a griefer that picks on new players and lives off ruining everybody's joy of the game.

The most impressive part is the amount of time, money and effort he dedicates to this. Its beyond a normal person's comprehension. He is clearly some sick stalker or a psychopath.

Hahahaha! Let me get this straight. You pick, out of all MMOs, the one game hailed by many as a griefer ' s paradise and a game for sociopaths and expected people to be nice just because they were in high sec?!?!?! Oh that's awesome! Furthermore you acknowledge that he's completely solo while you have multiple members, yet despite that, you're incapable of posting a single scout on the station he's at to keep an eye out? Finally to add hot sauce(to hell with just salt) to the festering wound, you expect everything to be sunshine and butterflies with him fighting you ONLY when and how you approve in a sandbox game where anybody is free to play however they want?

I'm sure even the short bus kids avoided you in school. By all means, share more.

I am impressed. I don't think I have seen so much decent advice regarded so poorly.

The only thing more astounding than the op's obstinate lack of self awareness is Valkin's patience.

I'm surprised too. More at the general contempt for OP wanting to play eve their way and demanding that he get as dirty and rotten as everyone else.

Don't kid yourselves. Even the dirtiest pirates from the birth of EVE have been carebears. They use alts to bring them goods at cheap prices and safely, rather than live with consequences of their in game actions on their main, from concord to prices

Refusing to use the tools available to everyone does not make you "better" than anyone else. And in attempting to claim that it does, it exposes you as being worse.

After seeing some of the kills that Bassics has on your corp, including a T2 fit Tempest Fleet Issue, and some other nice things, it seems clear that your accusation of him only picking on "newbies" is clearly erroneous. Indeed, against that battleship, he was alone, in a battlecruiser. So it is confusing why you would think he is a coward, fighting a ship a whole class up on his own like that.

Then you joined that alliance, bringing your total numbers to 141 members, and he is still getting kills on you guys. If anything, I would say that all of this shows that Bassics is not a griefer, but rather a talented assassin, who could command nice payment for his services. Furthermore it shows that newbies should steer clear of your terrible alliance.

The answer is simple. Bait Tank Procurer

1. Put Proc in belt mining alone (its even better if its a nooby looking toon)
2. Log off your back up (You might need ts)
3. Guy thinks proc is alone and crunchy
4. He goes for it
5. Proc tackles Bad guy
6. You log on and warp in at range with Nados or equivalent
7. ????????
8. Profit

Questions? Class dismissed.

Whatever you do, do not give in. Fight for your flag. o7

You boys need to start thinking more outside the box and getting a little creative. There are a plethora of tools, techniques and tactics available to you to take this guy down, even for players with little experience or skill. Why not make it a project, enjoy it and stop complaining about it?

He is not stupid, he just don't go for it. If he sees a bait outside station, he docks, asks a bunch of names to his agent and (and this is a big game mechanic problem) he doesn't even have to activate it, for the price the agent asks to locate us he already knows the rest of us are in the same constalation and he just stays docked.

He is always moving around with alts we don't know about spying and making sure its always safe to achieve his purposes.

We already seeked allies and stuff, but as I said, there is no target. They are willing to help but theres noone to attack, the coward stays docked at all times when he senses danger.

Hmmmm.... Milan the wise suggests a real sneaky tactic.

Use someone as bait... have out of corp toon or alt ( you have three slots... use another one) to watched the station.

Other corps members goto the bait and log out. When you see him undock with your ooc toon and hopefully going for your bait yall log in and blap em.

Oh kev, you're so cute trying to help people.

It's pretty clear that the OP isn't actually interested in doing anything in game to deal with this individual, if he was then he would have done it already, after all he essentially just has a single individual that he is just letting solo his entire corp. He's here to whine impotently, not to get help.

Limited reading and comprehension skills indeed, he said a single guy war decc'ing with multiple out of corp alts who is only going after newbies and will not undock if there is any risk at all, please engage brain and think about it...

Hang on, so are you saying that if the newbies were in a fleet with other members in appropriate ships they WON'T get attacked? It can't be that simple surely.

Well killboard doesnt show a lot of newbie kills from the griefer guy.

Well. There are some from you guys attacking new players in low sec. Think you folk have killed more new players than he has. Greifed them as it were.

Undock is the worst place to bait btw. Though acourse you already know that

Nothing to do with me, in any case I would expect that a twin armor rep Myrmidon would win in all those fights against people who do not have a clue what they are doing in PvP, and of course it does not show any remote repping on the kill reports if any.

But yep you and the others are correct they do not look like newbies based on kills, over to the OP for his clarification on what he defines as newbies..., that being said he did say that the current situation was that the war deccer was now doing that, now they were set up to take him on.

Edit: Looking at the KB on this corp there are rather a lot of newish players killed by him in addition to the ones detailed, I thought I had seen that when I looked when I first started reading this thread and assumed that the kills detailed were people attempting to fight him without knowing what they were doing.

So you hang around on the off-chance he might un-dock, sounds like great gameplay to me...
