I do feel bad for the helpless miners and haulers, but as long as CCP refuses to harshly deal with criminal conduct in highsec they will just keep on dying.

As you well know there are tools available to miners and haulers that make effectively safe from all but the most organized efforts to harm them, and even these can be avoided with some effort to gather intelligence so they are hardly "helpless". But dying in highsec is part of the design of Eve - nowhere is "safe" - so there is no reason to try to stop this. Since dying in highsec is already laughably rare, do you really think we need yet another set of nerfs to highsec PvP?

Don't listen to him he is on another one of his 'White pony' flights. Veers has been on a good long erm...'flights' for a while now, Can't really explain how else one could be so disclosed and delusioned.

Yes, the idea that repeatedly committing criminal acts in highsec should result in something more severe than a 15 minute timeout is pretty delusional. If only I could see things with the same clarity the Code folks do.

There is more difficulty to the life of an outlaw than a 15 minute lockout as you know, but answer me this: If highsec was suppose to be free of crime as you think why allow any hostile acts at all? When the game was designed, CCP could have said "no crime in highsec" and coded it that way. Instead, they went to the trouble to set up a complicated system of CONCORD, security status, kill rights and the like so that criminals could exist, albeit with some checks in place. The obvious conclusion is that highsec is suppose to have people committing criminal acts, presumably even repeatedly, to generate conflict (i.e. content) between players.

Highsec as a whole is already incredibly safe even for an untanked AFK industrial, and near impossible to die in if you at all take precautions. CCP should be doing more to generate new sources of conflict in highsec, not nerfing gankers yet again. Perhaps if you listen to this manifesto a couple more times that will become clearer to you.
