Next time you do something like this, just do it like with the fanfest stream. Sell subs on EVE site and hand out twitch codes so people get their stuff right away.

Clearly twitch can't be trusted to manage something like this Roll

First off... I want to say thank you to CCP Guard and the whole team that has been doing the production for EVE TV and various other CCP goodies. You guys have upped your game each broadcast and delivered a really good product that I enjoy! I can't wait till the next stream comes online.


That said...

Using Twitch to broadcast all the hard work you guys do seems very demeaning. It is like buying a Ferrari and then having it delivered in a manure truck that has been driven down a dirt road.

When I first saw the opportunity to give CCP my money for the HD Stream, I was excited...

...but then I realized I'm giving some of that to Twitch. I don't feel like they deserve my money in this situation. I know, that twitch knows that I've paid for the stream, because it says so on the CCP Channel page. Least they could do at this point is send us an email telling why they can't deliver the goods.

Anyways... EVE Vegas stream was great. Thanks for providing the content to those of us at home.

Very well spoken, and an interesting way to look at it. Then again, what would the alternative be? Setup a page where they can stream a feed to on the actual EVE website? I think that'd introduce some (high) costs, and the entire idea I'm getting behind the feed and the 'support us with 10 bucks' thing is that's exactly the opposite of what they want to achieve with fanfests and everything associated with it. However, obviously,I could be wrong and misunderstand CCPs internal mechanics entirely.

Youtube does do Live Streaming and HD live Streaming. I am sure CCP is getting Royalties off of this like crazy hence the exploitation of Twitch. Even if they drop the ball for many of its users.

Well for it to reach Lore level, it needs to beat the ingame Shirts from the first NEO, you know, the ones that took what, 14-16 months to finally get out? Ya.. How about no?

It would be interesting to hear their reasons for an eight-hour operation to send messages, which are all scripted btw. Oh... and no one received the mail yet.

Was it really THAT hard to realize that you cannot send codes etc to subscribers? Based on what information did you give us the date "No later than 21th" ?

YOu should have to check that if there is a problem etc that needs to be fixed vefore you say your CUSTOMERS something like even you are not even %100 sure. Yet you did not even care...

This is a shame...
