Trying to solve launcher offline problem I found that I cannot tracert Tranquility (87.237.38.200) as recommended in FAQ. Is it a network problem or the server novadays is unavailabble for tracing (I was 3 years out of EVE)?

I have the same issue.

I can connect, however I get the "Socket has closed" error way, way too often.

I live in Belgium, and my tracert has similar results, these are my last 2 working hops:

  • 199.16.94.162 xe-1-2-0.r1.bb-fo.ams1.vrsn.net
  • 199.16.95.155

Same issue here. I have sent them pingplots and everything, my ISP was unable at two seperate times to pinpoint any! issues with my own net or their own backbone.

Got the same thing, that or the servers are slow. Jumps take forever, a few seconds between warp order and it actually happening that kind of stuff.

Got it from corp mates as well and we're talking all over the US and all over Europe. ISP my ass, it has nothing to do with whats happening on the player side.

CCP has an issue/problem and it needs fixing. Some nights EVE is unplayable atm. PVE maybe, but PVP cannot be done this way.

Its also been weeks already, not just last night. Sadly it comes and goes, some nights its fine sometimes its not. Really annoying tbh

For me it has been weekend some two weeks ago and ever since last weekend. In between and before DDOS it worked absolutely fine - now I cannot play at all: waiting over 300 seconds for my mails to pull up or a chat channel to open, and being told by corpies that I am actually not in corp chat anymore for a few minutes means not even pve works. If I am lucky, the "Socket closed" error appears earlier so I know at least I am not trying to click against massive lag :D

Using caps/jumping around ain't possible - in nullsec that is suicide/death sentence. Pretty great if you are required to jump around and cannot influence the situation or avoid it, with the most likely result that you loose billions of isk.

The GM who is handling my support ticket is very good though and tries to keep me updated (kudos here).
