I just unsubbed all 3 of my accounts, since the last patches ruined wormholes for me, and nothing else interests me. It's a relief to unsub kinda. Now no longer do I need to ask myself "why am I still here" as I ship spin and contemplate the next time I'll login to skillqueue online lol.

People have various interests, such as "give me your stuff" and nonsense statements, however my question is still unanswered:

Can anyone share the future of EVE? I would like to understand more about where we are going. How about the gate with the EMP startup? Is that just some marketing thing or is to come?

I look forward to some info. Any links?

Its not really that hard to see...

1) Industry revamped to help make it so you can build things locally.

2) Wormhole revamp as I truly think this will become part of number 6

3) Power projection nerf to attempt and make fights happen locally

4) Corp and alliance revamp coming soon to assist in number 6

5) two other null sec changes, what is gleamed is a form of 'occupational sov' use it or lose it thing. This will prolly have a pos and mining revamp of some kind is my guess. Thus making it so null sec can be self sufficient and fight for fights.

6) New star gates that lead to new areas. Either you get thee via a wh and build a gate, or its random.

Valk and Legion give you more options to play, and maybe eventually combined

I accidentally bought ~500 dollars worth of PLEX off Amazon. So, was feeling quite bad about that... Decided to use almost all of it on subscription time. So now I can plug in skills until 2017. Also have some ISK to buy the skills with.

I think it will turn out well in the end, it gives me a reason to keep up with the game, also gives me a reason to just play SkillQueueOnline for a long time because there's almost no point in logging in as I've played this game in the past.

Because this turned out pretty well for me, I would suggest others try it. As I've said I've played this game before but always unsubbed because it became too boring to justify the subscription... but at the same time, it kept me from training skills hard enough so that the game could at one point not be boring (possibly)

Either way, the 3 year project character on this account's skill sheet is starting to look pretty.

Uhm without playing sp is useless tbh. And if you`re going that way i can say it for sure its like drugs first you`re tasting the small amount you can back off. After some time you`re sp is going to be double like drugs its more a casual drugs still you can back off. Then you`re hitting the 100m Drugs is at his best you WANT MORE MORE SP NOW. And you still are not login in even if you have 300mil sp. CCP at his best there. New pay cheq every month. Keep them coming.

SP farmers i think some are or is addiction to it. Or you`re going to sell your account also!

Wipe your characters and start over. Instead of spending 1000's of hours grinding until burnout, invent your own reality within the game.

There's so much gamey stuff to do within eve as long as you make it your own and have fun with it. Run the major shipping lanes on anti-pirate duty. It may not be as satisfying if you don't get a chunk of ISK at the end, but it's got as much point as any other video game you've ever played. On the off chance you catch gankers in the act and counter kill them, you won your little mini-game you devised within the Eve sandbox.

In some ways it can be a little difficult because everyone wants to pull their own direction, but that's what more subs are for (NOT MORE ALTS, that's just the same person with the same mind as before!). When you create a way of playing the game, don't listen to people that try to mainstream you by saying it's stupid or not making you as much isk as it could or you're not skilling up fast enough. If you listen to them, you turn into the machine grinder and lose what spark of imagination and joy you can get out of setting up and defining your own microcosm goals in the game.

People talk about how eve is better than WoW. I still get one shotted undocking in a frigate if there's a WT thrasher outside. It looks eerily similar to getting one shotted in WoW battlegrounds by a x9 level player when you're x1-4 levels.
