I have thinked about that for a bit, new race of human would have to be developed. The martians. When one day human civilization on earth will collapse as the resourcess deplete, only martian technology will survive in untouched state. Then martians will come back to earth and we will treat them like gods, because they will have shining sticks dealing death and scaly, unpenetrable skin.
