Removing jukebox was a big loss. I often played few songs over and over again and sometimes played whole music song list. Sometimes I got bored of same music songs repeating over and over again so I shut jukebox off. After break I activated it again when I got tired of silence.

Jukebox allowed me to control music in EVE. Yes EVE music is now in some internet site but that isn't same thing. Now I'm forced to hear music based on where I'm currently and I have no control over what is played.

Bring jukebox back!

Don't kid yourselves. Even the dirtiest pirates from the birth of EVE have been carebears. They use alts to bring them goods at cheap prices and safely, rather than live with consequences of their in game actions on their main, from concord to prices

Mute eve music, go onto soundcloud, create your own playlist using the CCP Soundtracks.
Probably easier that way anyway.

And allows you to add the badass login themes too.

No it wasn't.

What an amazing feature list the Eve jukebox had, it will be sorely missed with its on/off capabilities. I sure hope there is another app out there that can play music over and over again, and possibly start/stop at will.

Actually it is exactly the same thing.

...except for that whole volume control thing.

No.

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

Some nubs think the jukebox only played eve music.... mine was setup with my own playlists that played my songs. So I have to alt tab with iTunes just to play anything.

So yea bring it back.... by the way any crappy web radio interferes with eve specially when it uses precious bandwidth. Few times i tried it i would get the socket closed message but the music would still play.....

I still find it lame that you have to mess around in an out of game browser to listen to ingame music.

Maybe it's like ship spinning where they say no, then they say it's impossible......and then suddenly the impossible happens and it's back!

OMFG people. The jukebox has been gone nearly 2 years.

CCP explained why they took it out. None of those reasons have changed.

Let it go already.

There isn't an "app" you can get in the game. It's impossible.

No it isn't.

War Kitten wrote:

Volume control does not equal control over the specififc song that you want to play, only the volume of what is playing.

edit: I was informed (thanks Solecist Project) that sliding the volume slider to zero and then back will change the song. However, it will not give you control over which specific song you want to play ... which is what is being addressed here.

The current browser will certainly be removed too at some point. It's a really crappy and limited browser already, so once they've got an alternative way to implement the important functionality, it'll be scrapped.

I used to always set the same song on repeat... in the belt or under the belt or something like that was the name.

I even remember a time when I thought to myself after about the 50th day in a row of logging on and playing that song "This song makes the EVE environment for me".

Now all I hear is feedback and strange noises so I don't listen to EVE anymore.

Not today spaghetti.
