What tank should I use for running SoE missions? Not the arc. I seem to get missions against all types of enemies so should I just go omni tank?

If you base your tank of 2 hardeners and a booster, you can switch out the hardeners depending on what rats you end up fighting.

I'll be using a Passive Gila with 3LSE/2AIF atm. Might swap those to 2 hardeners, thanks :)

Bookmark this site and reference it when you get missions you don't recognize.
it will tell you the primary and secondary damage dealt and resist holes.
you can then match your own resistances and have a much more efficient tank.

It will also tell you the triggers for agro which should help you alot.

I didn't even know missions had triggers, haven't gotten any with them yet.
Thanks for the link :)

get the mission .. look up the mission .. change the hardners - change the ammo dmg type .. note the triggers .. dive in and win.

History is the study of change.

Sisters are allied to Gallente (who are allied to Minmatar). In my experience running missions for SoE, back in the days of Gicodel and later in Apanake and Osmon you will get Serpentis as the dominant faction with some Angels and the usual sprinkling of drones, mercs and a few others like Dread Pirate Scarlet (sp?).

Apart from that ... just do what Toshiro said :)

Don't know what level missions you are running but you may want to try out level 3s in a drake/myrmidon first. Gila is a pretty expensive toy to learn with. Just my 0.02 isk.

I don't understand this..
I'll be grinding my standings from l1s, hopefully I'll learn it before I'm at l3s.

@voetius, I seem to be getting Serpentis and Grusotas primarily, maybe it's because of my region? I'm in The Forge.

Some players make quite a career out of picking on people with more isk than sense and limited game knowledge. Ralph and I are both quite familiar with this. How we are familiar is left as an exercise for the reader.

Ship loss in EVE is inevitable. And once it's gone, it is gone. Never fly a ship that would cripple you financially to lose. And do not assume a bigger or more expensive ship is better. In experienced hands, a t1 frigate can take out a pirate faction battleship....best to fly cheap but effective until you actually understand the advantages of the extra isk investment.

Ah. Pirates.
Yep pirates. If you see the likes of Ralph in your mission pocket, and loot is being lifted from the wrecks; don't shoot unless you fancy exploding.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Someone told me it was possible for people to be able to attack in highsec without getting attacked by concord and no aggression or wardecs or kill rights, do you know anything about that?

Haha, you have lots of good links.
It was a good read (and explains why not to shoot the little ship), but it didn't answer my question, unfortunately :(
I did find a link to another post of his (vagina modules) that confirmed what the other person told method.. Well, maybe, he could've had a killright.

outside of a killright or a war dec one would need to be suspect (flashy yellow) and have you fire upon them first before they can touch you.

It depends, you can shoot at anybody that is a suspect (yellow skull) or criminal (red skull) without repercussion from Concord or the Faction Navy; although it's hardly ever a good idea unless you know what you're doing. You can also enter into a duel, which is a limited engagement, with another player without Concord interfering. Neither example requires aggression, a wardec or kill rights.

You might find the Devblog on crimewatch 2.0 to be interesting and informative.
