New Ship Idea - Salvaging and Reclamation - Endurheimta

There are allot of ships and drones that are abandoned in space that if the pilot and his crew have the patients in going after there is a gold mine that awaits in this virtually untapped vein within New Eden.

The Endurheimta is just such as ship to make the Salvaging and Reclamation crews very rich. The difference between the Endurheimta and ships such as the Noctis is the Endurheimta has the ability to fit a specialized module that is able to repackage an abandoned ship once it has been stripped of rigging and its modules.

The second new design that comes with the Endurheimta are Rigging Stripper Drones in small, medium and large sizes that are able to strip the rigging off of abandoned ships as if the ship was in a hangar.

Repackaging Module Bonus (per skill level) 10% reduction in repackaging time. A T1 ship repackaging module would take 20 minutes at level one to repackage the ship, ten minutes at level five. Frigates and Destroyers add an additional 5 minutes, Cruisers add an additional 7 minutes, Battle Cruisers add an additional 10 minutes and Battleships add an additional 15 minutes.

T1 module cannot be overheated.

The T2 version of the module reduces the above repackaging times by an additional 25% when over heated but when repackaging T2 ships the time penalty returns to the T1 values plus an additional five minutes per ship size.

Rigging Stripper Drones - 5% reduction to rigging stripping per level. Small drones - 5 minutes per small rig, Medium drones - 10 minutes per medium rig, Large drones - 15 minutes per rig.

T2 Rigging Stripper Drones add an additional five minutes for T2 rigs.

Repackaging Module and Stripper Drones can only be used with the Endurheimta

What are you talking about?

This ship is meant to reclaim ships that have been abandoned in space. I think you have been sitting in on one to many CODE. meetings.

"Salvaging" an abandoned ship (IF you find one) is as easy as selecting it, right clicking and then clicking "Board Ship"
You then fly your shiny new ship to station

I think this ship should also be able to deactivate pos shields, and unanchor pos modules regardless of controlling corp.

Agreed john, the above is a good starting point. I also think this should be dropped to being a small destroyer sized ship to encourage faster movement between ships floating in space.

Dryson has a good idea, and I have another idea that's mostly related as far as the theme being industrial.

New Ship Idea - In-Space Module Manufacturing - η“œη”°ζŽδΈ‹ (kaden rika) (Melon field, under a plum tree)

The kaden rika was developed by ORE as part of it's strategy to continue its vertical integration from only manufacturing ships that mine minerals to also ships that produce modules from the minerals mined. ORE recognized that teams were being stretched to the max in stations and that there was no way for large industrial corporations to effectively own their own production lines and resources without investing in high cost stationary structures.

The kaden rika is capable of taking a blueprint from it's newly created blueprint bay and ore from it's ore bay to combine and create the specified module. The ship will receive a 5% bonus per level to the material efficiency of the blueprint being worked off of. In addition a new module, the "Time Vortex Enabler" which can only be fit to this special ship would be created. The Time Vortex Enabler would create a time tear in space anywhere on grid with the ship, thus speeding up time by 5% per level of the skill that would be introduced with this module (This can be accomplished using reverse TIDI)

The module can not be overheated.
