Hi there!

Just wondering what folk might be using atm to calculate indy jobs?

I have been an avid user of EVEIPH for some years and I'm sure this will get updated soon, but it's been a while and my time for working out what i need for indy is getting less and less. I build many ships and in the cases where it is profitable I will build the components rather than buying the components. This is the calculator I cannot find in another 3rd party indy calc.

Thx in advance

Do what a lot of bitter vets did. Make your own Excel spread sheet.

Why Can't I have a picture signature.

Also please support graphical immersion, bring back the art that brought people to EvE online originaly.

You've been my saviour so far but calculating which components I should build/buy is still time consuming to get the best profit out of my products. Great setup tho man, easy to navigate through and i just go by the results i get atm for the sake of sanity lol!

Looking into how to setup a spreadsheet for just the products I make, any pointers to a guide to do this?

Thx

I've been thinking about working up a 'build or buy' option. But I'll need to have you able to build a blueprint list, to see what's possible, at what ME level. I've not got that far yet.

as for making a spreadsheet, if you go to the SDE link on my site, and then into the most recent version, there's a number of xls files for industry (they all start industry) which have the lists of materials and products.

You'll also want to grab invTypes, for names, and maybe some of the map ones for resolving systems and regions.

If you go to my github, there are some googledocs functions for pulling price data and so on.

Start with the basics

Column headers / Eample
A B C D
Material - Cost - Quantity - Total price for each mat

Isogen - 110.56 - XXXX -- =Cost * quanantity
=Bn*Cn
Etc

etc

Total price of basic mats --- =Sum(first material:Last material) or =sum(Dn:Dy)

That gives you your basic cost for t1.

Now for other stuff.

Time to produce in hours - XXX
Time to produce in minutes - XXX

Total time to produce - =hours+ (minutes/60)
Production cost rate = totaltime to produce * factory rate per hour.

Total cost = Production rate cost + total price of mats.

Thats just the pure basics for t1 production. When you start t2 the sheet becomes much much more complicated depending on how much you want to try to save, and whether you want to make the t2 components yourself or not.

Why Can't I have a picture signature.
