Just put a hard limit on stations that says that at any given time only 50 capitals and 2-5 supers can dock at the outer docking ports of an NPC station or new docking ports structure - introduced as outpost upgrade - of player stations.

While waiting for your cooldown timer to expire, you can have fun warping from gate to gate in slow motion and jumping stargates that are smaller than your spaceship. Look on the bright side: your supers warp so slowly, the timer will have expired after only 2 or 3 jumps!

Gameplay story segregation. Individual players have more cargo than the total volume of the station it's in, not to mention all the other people docked and storing stuff there. Carriers and dreads shouldn't be able to fit either, but they do.

agreed, there should be a outpost upgrade for supercaps to dock. the supercaps will now get more or less stranded after the patch.

The neat thing about lore and RP is that it can always be expanded upon. Just because there weren't stations big enough in the past doesn't mean there can't be in the future.

Except that there is no need to improve the conditions of super caps. Under current mechanics. People are already using them. A buff like this would only be warranted if the use dropped to a point below what CCP intended.

this will make it far to easy to horde suppers not to mention if they can be stored in a station they can be sold on market meaning that more people will be willing to build them since they can now sell them w/o risk of a scam just exploding the numbers of suppers in the game.

There would be no limiting factor on the amount of supers one person or one group could control except for the speed of its production (which most are just straight-out bought from producers).

Currently a person or group can only have as many supers as they have pilots, else they risk them by storing them at towers which have their own set of issues (constant fueling, open targets, forgetting to stront, abandoned, theft, roles, etc). Allowing Supers to dock would be removing that controlling check in the game.

If you want to use a legion of holding alts, no one is stopping you, but each of those alts has a holding person behind it, be it a active member, or a director/ceo storage account for backup supers. Is storing supers on alts or in POS's the best option, I don't believe it is.

But neither is storing them in indestructible stations.


This has been asked every hour, every week, from different supercap pilots. The main issue of docking is this.

Is it something you have control over or something that's your fault? No. It's **** poor planning by the developers as well as coordinated efforts by mega blocks that caused the current issue.

Eventually will they be dock able... Maybe. There is a list of issues that has to be addressed first before something like this could be considered.

Any change made to any ship is about incentive. Incentive for people to fly them.

Currently Eve has no need to increase the incentive for more people to fly super caps. Regardless of what the situtation currently is for super cap pilots They're obviously fine with it as Eve has many times more supers than CCP intended.

You can certainly argue for why a super pilot would want to be able to dock but you can't argue for why Eve Online as a game needs them to be able to.
