High Resolution Texture Nebulae incoming?

Hi!

CCP said that they increased the resolution of all WH nebulae ...
... so I am wondering if someone can confirm/deny this claim ...

... with possible comparison screenshots?

Because if they indeed increased the resolution ...
... they might increase it for the other systems too.

They said that in Phoebe, all nebulae will be brighter.

I can, rather safely, assume that this is a step towards the new lighting ...
... where the distance to the local star determines brightness of the surroundings.

This would be a amazing!

Also, the stars currently stay the same size when travelling through a system which is very unrealistic!
They should increase in both size and brightness as you reach the centre of a system and them fade and become smaller again as one passes by - it would give a better sense of travelling distances within a system.

I have no idea about this,
but it makes sense to assume that this is covered.

Now if only they changed the three decades old fire effect of the stars too ... xD
(when being upclose, I mean. Yes that algorithm is three decades old.)

We now have a pony nebula in our C5. Maybe highsec could get some rainbows?

Turns out I don't have any screenshots that show only the old nebula. This will have to do for comparison.
I miss the old ones. Sad

EDIT: AFAIK the k-space ones already had the higher resolution and they just brought the w-space nebulae up to the same level of awfulness.

Well that pony nebulae does indeed look more detailed ...
... and the highsec ones are ... well ... meh.

If these are high resolution...
