Ganking stats

More and more people talk/whine about ganked freighter and I suspect that CODE is putting oil on the fire this with their propaganda on minerbumping.com

I'm not the most adept at using the EVE API or killboards advanced features but is there a way to get detailled ganking stats over the last months/years ?

Something like a history of the number of freighter destroyed in hisec per week/month would be pretty accurate I suppose.

These are not all suicide ganks, but after you look at it for a while you can figure out which ones are and are not.

Not what you asked for I know, but it's the best readily available information. Anything more will require considerably more effort.

go read minerbumping, they talk about it a lot :)

Statistically the freighter is one of the safest ships to fly in EVE.

Average number of flying hours expected to survive might be an interesting statistic

2 30 min trips a day to and from jita. Its boringly safe in these things unless you do something like stuff 10 bil in the hold.

You are seeing competition where there is none.

Something like that, if by kill you mean failed to kill. Blink Attempted suicide ganks on my scanner- 8, times failed- 8. (not you and yours, total) I think hengle only attempted once, and I killed him when he strayed too far up the pipe.
