Not even asking for any help in taking one down, I'm just genuinely curious if there is a way to take down a sov holding alliance with their own station out deep in nullsec.

Would you need a massive military force? Or can it take a just a small infiltration to topple an alliance?

All you need to do is make a thread on the forums to wake the sleeping giant that is highsec

Brains , isk and a nice ass irl in no particular order.

We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.

I did that.

and gave them the rhetoric..

and gave them the plans..

and gave them the fits..

and still Highsec wont budge.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Usually clicking the 'disband' button will do the trick.

There are a few steps:

1: First you send in a few spies to their main & leading corporations to gain intell and demoralize
2: Second you prevent the alliance and their bears to make isk, so they take over negatives
3: Third you pew pew gank them and start a forum (media/news ect) trolling operation, preferly about their main leaders or fc's
4: Fourth, you continue the trolling subject and after every gank you troll in local this and how bad they are.
5: Fifth, if there is still a "core" left after the above 4 steps: You bribe their blue's or their neighbours to reset your target and you start a forum (media/news ect) trolling operation claiming it is your targets "own" fault.

After this, carebears leaves, pvpr's lesser undock/pvp and when the finances run out, corporations are starting to leave.

Just join their enemies, a couple of fights later they make you blue, then claim victory.

Don't take me too seriously though, I like to tease a bit on the forums, but that's only because I love you...

This, it's what has been done in some form to every giant that has died in Null Sec.

'Whoops, Sov bil magically didn't get paid, and oh no, our enemies were already prepared for this'
'Whoops, Holding Corp had it's wallet stolen'
'Whoops, alliance got disbanded and lost all it's Sov'

You don't win in game. You only win if you play the out of game meta game.

Further along this line of thinking:
Historically, infiltration and/or seduction of high-ranking alliance officers with sufficient privileges to do this has been most effective. Band of Brothers (bob) is the most famous case, but not the only one; see also "Guiding Hand Social Club". Big smile

The problem with slavery is that only half of the manacles are visible. The Holder, supposed master, is equally bound by the gilded chains of privilege and wealth.

Stop providing targets, and they will get bored and stop playing.

Let (or cause) the monthly Alliance maintenance fees to go unpaid.

There's a million angry citizens looking down their tubes..at me.

What is the best way to get drunk?

A Harry Forever campaign into a null alliance's home basement and around its systems would drain its resources, in the long term. Guys watching Local and becoming scarce, instead of grinding their nullbearing. Guys fleeting up and sitting in bubba gate camps, to catch one tiny 'bear fly. Instead of making isk or doing something productive. Coordinators tracking and reporting neuts in system, instead of doing the usual cat herding. The agitprop in their home areas in Local can distract and divert time, attention, and energy, too. The drain would add up, over time.

Problem is, getting through the random people bubble camps at that first gate in null can be kind of tough. And that kind of partizan work requires independent thinking, not group-think and button mashing. And you might log off at the end of the session with 0 new isk and 0 new kills. Therein lies the rub....

I hear the best way is to get screenies of their EULA contrary activities as you're leaving.
