Curretnly, I'd have to say that if I woke up tomorrow and tried to log in and got a message saying Eve had been shut down permanently, I'd miss nothing.

A week ago I finally checked off the last thing on the list of goals I had set out to accomplish in this game back when I started in 2010. I play now out of boredom. If the game was gone, I'd probably find another game, or pick up a new hobby.

I'd do what I did that time when EVE was down for several days due to hackers. I made some paper airplanes. I gave them NPC piraty like names. I had my kid throw them in the air in our living room while I shot at them with rubber bands.

Later we hid ourselves in the tree in my front yard , then i used my cell phone to tell my wife to let my dog out. From cover, my step son ran his remote control truck back and forth across the yard. It would stop the gank or flee PvP mechanics and maybe fights won't be one sided or a waste of time to look for.

People talk about how eve is better than WoW. I still get one shotted undocking in a frigate if there's a WT thrasher outside. It looks eerily similar to getting one shotted in WoW battlegrounds by a x9 level player when you're x1-4 levels.

Not EVE enough! You should have told us about the part where your puppy lit a cyno and had his cloaky German Shepard alt bubble you two and hotdropped PETA lawyers on you that sued you for "animal abuse" fighter bombers.

Post with your NPC alt main and not your main main alt!

If Eve would finally die I would shed a tear of relief and continue to play games that are actually fun to play. Like: any other game in universe including Russian roulette and LARPing scenes from Saw.

*shrug* Not really. it's fun and everything, but I'd pretty quickly find another game or past-time to take its place. That said, I would be bummed, for sure. Missing something in my life? That's a bit much.
