Allow us to include pictures in our signatures

It would allow for us to better distinguish ourselves on the forums.

Plus, desusigs were amazing.

Ahhh.... yes, pictures....

So many headaches that will create for the mods. I believe it is why they do not allow pictures in the first place.

Cloaking is the closest thing to a "Pause Game" button one can get while in space.

Support better localization for the Japanese Community.

By this logic players should be disallowed from posting too.

Well there just needs to be good limits set on the size of the sigs.

If you look at the forum footer it says Pegi12.

Now you want to allow signatures with images... You would have to employ a team of forum signature monitors to keep it pegi12

Have you ever visited a forum with images on signatures? You have a few archetypes which will always prop up:

- a gentleman sausage hidden in an image
- 5 images of irrelevant fandom stacked on top of each other stealing precious vertical space
- overly-colorful gifs to cause headaches or trigger people with conditions in their eyes
- average computer specs listed with an annoying jab at a competitor hidden in there somewhere
- horribly typoed quotes in latin
- nyancat/goatse/insert MAYMAY which you think is funny but was overdone 5 years ago
- porn
- stat padding sigs from random websites or killboards, usually from multiple sources so all of them say a different thing

None of these contribute anything to the discussion and don't make you any more special that the other sperg vomiting on the keyboard. If you want to have an impact, don't post badly and build a name instead.

They used that ability successfully for years to mainly have cool signatures, that were in no way offensive nor were people complaining about them. The PEGI rating objection is laughable, since that kind of moderation has to be done anyway with or without signature pics and it seems to be working just fine. In fact some people still use signature pics, but they just can't be seen by people using vanilla EVE forums. You can see them with an add-on and I'm sure you'll get a forum ban, if you think you can post anything you want on them. I would imagine reporting forum sigs would work in the same fashion. Flag it for rule breaking just like a normal forum post and a volunteer will take a look at it and disable it if found questionable. If abuse is such a concern, allow me to pay for the privilege in aurum. It's cosmetic item after all with no affect to posting, so it would be inline with how things currently work and it would certainly keep any abuse to a minimum.
