Type of ECCM to use..

I am researching ECCM

I fly Caldari Frigates ATM and found the following two modules

ECCM - Omni II
ECCM - Gravimetric II


my goal is to reduce the chance of being probed in Null or Low.
Which one would be most useful in this situation and would there be a side benefit to one over the other?
It seems in EFT that both add the same value to my sensor strength.

If unsure go omni.

To be honest, I don't even know why they have the other four modules for them, since the omny does the same but only for one sensor.

Neither is wrong in your case.

You want to use the META 4 module. It uses less CPU for the same effect (96%) as the T2

Conjunctive Gravimetric ECCM scanning array I

This is one of those "Meta 4 is better' eve things.

Omni ECCM in general are useless unless you want to create a stockpile of modules that you can swap between ships of different races; they provide the same benefit, but require twice as much cap to activate. Always use racial-specific ECCM whenever possible.
