After being a pc gamer since the first home pc came to the market i am ''finally'' going to switch over to console gaming.The kids have outrgown the wii/wii-u phase and i can't be arsed to spend 1000 euro every two years for a new laptop pc anymore in the knowledge that 2 years later it will be outdated and i will have to spend 1000 euro again just to keep up with the new games.I know , i know , why buy a laptop right?Well the family thingy mostly means i enjoy playing on a laptop next to my wife/kids when they are playing rather then sittting in a different room or in the corner.Let's just call it being a social gamer.



I have read and viewed a shitload of sites that try to compare the two named consoles and alas it seems to be a draw most of the times.The ps4 has the edge when it comes to strength while the xbox one has the multimedia/online edge.Neither of these two however are overconvincing if you compare.Currently i am leaning more towards the ps4 allthough i have read a lot of people having a PS4 error code CE-34452-8 and with a lot i mean a LOT so that is kinda scaring me off atm.


Anyway , i am throwing it out here to see wich side the dice turns here and i'm probably going to go with whatever choice comes out as i REALLY have no idea wich one to choose.On a sidenote even though i allways loved eve i am NOT interested in playing DUST so no i am not going to go for a PS4 just because it has DUST on it.

Multimedia is still irrelevant for consoles. So don't let that tip the XBOX in your favor.

Thing is PS4 will be getting the software for video streaming etc that the PS3 had we just dont know when.

Theres also the media considerations. In Japan xbones vaunted tv features are non existant. Thus ill never get an xbox since its basically a gimped console here featurewise.

But as Cale said multimedia shouldnt swing you. Personally though i like my ps4. With a vita abd good wifi remote play is damn good.

Quick ed: dust isnt ps4 porting. Legion will supercede dust and is pc.

I was so sure I was going to buy a PS4 and not the Xbone, especially with the **** they pulled when trying to launch it. But at the end of the day, I care about the games and not the shape of the box I put the disc into , so I went with the Xbone because the exclusives are just that much better IMO.

I haven't paid much attention to consoles sense I got my PC, however with Bloodborn coming out, couple with all the **** Microsoft tried to pull, I would buy a PS4. Even if the Xbone was better in all aspects, and the fact the Microsoft isn't actually doing all the stuff they had originally planned on, the thought of them attempting to do such a things, makes me pretty wired to the point I'm boycotting the system. XD
