What is CCP's stance on using their music on live Twitch Streams? Is it allowed outside of regular game capture (such as on a playlist)? Examples coming to mind are "Below the Asteroids" and "Miner Stories"

GD is full of many wonderous things, many of which would either enhance or plain blow your mind, recover repressed memories, give you a laugh or do just the opposite, but unfortunately it wont be full of the answer you seek.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Yea I had no clue where else to ask the question beforehand.

Using Eve Music while Streaming eve I'm sure is no problem.

Using it in other game streams though.. dunno. I'd be cool to hear Eve Music Everywhere, but dunno how they would feel if you stream Eve Music in a WoW game.

Yaay!!!!

Im sure CCP will be fine with it as long as you use the actual music off the CCP soundcloud and NOT the symphony of respiratory illness that was included with the Collectors Edition.

I don't think CCP cares about the music in their game. Its very repetitive, especially if you are in the same region a lot of the time.

Once upon a time the Golem had a Raven hull and it looked good. Then it transformed into a plataduck. The end.

You know, the game makes ALOT more sense if you play it with this in the background....

Actually I'm wrong. CCP love the music :D That's why similar tracks are played over and over again, with little variation and no relevance to whats happening to the ship.

CCP legal informed me that any EVE related content (music, game play footage, videos, trailers, etc.) is fine to freely use as long as it is in something EVE related and not directly charged for (subscription fee) or used to hawk a product (your own EVE T-shirts for example).

Monetizing that content with ads is fine, as they do not consider that charging for or restricting access. They would like to be credited though.

CCP Monitization Policy should cover Twitch broadcasts as well.

Thanks CCP for possibly the most liberal and sensible policy in this regard I've ever seen.

You will have issues with Twitch, not CCP. Twitch is taking down streams that use copyrighted music now. I assume they have to be reported, though.

They are mostly focused on riaa stuff. A lot of twitch streamers are going no music, but unless you have a gigantic following, you should be fine. Go for it for now, and if it becomes an issue, deal with it later.
