Question to CCP:

Will there be any tours organized towards the 100% eclipse zone?

Being so close to a total eclipse yet only having it at 90% will be frustrating :)

The difference between a 90% and a 100% eclipse are enourmous, only with 100% you will get to see a black sky and get to see the corona of the sun, and possibly any visible solar flares

It is however at least 100 km out of the Icelandic coast, so I guess only a plane or helicopter trip would be viable. It would however be great if possible.

I really wana question the person who said it would be -2 - +4 Celsius in mid-march in Iceland. We had that in start of May in 2013 FF.
I'd say you need winter clothes in mid-march (actually, I needed those in May in 2013 FF). Expect heavy windchill and unpredictable weather. If you don't want to catch a cold like I did, you really need wind-prof jacket, a scarf, sweater and winter footwear. Harpa has a cloackroom.

And take something alternative to a summer T-Shirt to wear inside the harpa, because inside temperature can be a little chilly for us, who live south of the Iceland ;)

And plane ticket wise, try SAS - it cost me half the price of the Icelanair - only 400 EUR London - Reykjavik - Londod though Copenhagen.
