No chance, not ever.

If you want to do a plex for good how about doing it for the real victims of this...

This guys orphaned children.

He was trying to deliver aid and paid the ultimate price.

Someone knows exactly where this happened and where the others are being held, the same people you want to raise plex for.....

Why on earth would anyone want to support people who give massive assistance and shelter to these terrorists by remaining silent?

NO.

Solecist Project...." They refuse to play by the rules and laws of the game and use it as excuse ..." " They don't care about how you play as long as they get to play how they want."

The Red Cross? Excuse me, but frankly speaking, have you thought a minute about what you are saying there? You are using the example of an aid worker coming to this crisis to say that there shouldn’t be aid?

And in all conflicts if there is a humanitarian crisis there is at least one involved party that can prevent, stop and/or resolve it with a single political signature on the right piece of paper. You can't do that with a natural disaster.
While I appreciate your experience in your own country, I think noncomplex comparisons don’t add to this discussion. What possibly may be does not help those affected.

The red cross is seen as a valid target to attack by these people.

I support this.

It is irrelevant where the source of a victim's suffering comes from, only that we try to alleviate it however we can.

All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.

when you're asking for my money, it's very relevant.

Well in this case it would be asking for your isk. But regardless, I don't see why a desire to help someone is dependent on the source of their suffering.

What exactly is your point?

Yes, they are brave, dedicated and willing to face danger to help relieve suffering. They are the heroes when it comes to helping the needy despite their personal risks. Whether it's under a barrage of mortar fire or climbing over earthquake rubble looking for survivors, they are there. Risking their own lives to help others.

And yet it seems that people feel justified in using that very fact to not support them. If you can't help on the ground, people, then help the people that are by spending a little ISK.

Sheesh.

This reminds me of Nostradamus again.

That ringing in your ears you're experiencing right now is the last gasping breathe of a dying inner ear as it got thoroughly PULVERISED by the point roaring over your head at supersonic speeds. - Tippia

I don't give a **** whether it's natural or political. It's a disaster of epic proportions.

Innocent people are suffering. The reason? Being born in the wrong place at the wrong time. It's not their fault they are in the grave situation they are in.

I wholeheartedly support Odelya in his/her endeavor to help support these poor people. It's good to see someone willing to open their heart and wallet to help those whose lives have been destroyed through no fault of their own.

Count on my PLEX support if you get this off the ground.

While i understand your sentiment , if we take this road then we can have a ''plex for'' running every day of the year because , unlike natural disasters , human disasters have a habbit of allways having at least one going on every day of the year.

As such these types of things i rather support , or not support , in reall life using my wallet instead of using the ''plex for good'' method .The same goes for all types of diseases one can suffer from , i wouldn't think a ''plex for cancer'' for example would be a good idea.

Currently you could have a : ''Plex for palestina'' , ''plex for syria'' , ''plex for iraq'' , ''plex for south sudan'', ''plex for somali'' , ''plex for afghanistan'' , ''plex for ukraine'' and that is not taking into account stuff like ''plex for ebola''.Those are just some of the current hotspots for warvictims/victims . I think you get the point i am trying to make.

So in short , it get's my support only if it is a natural disaster , otherwise it get's my support through non-eve related ways if i feel '''my stuff'' can make a difference.

We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.

This thread is being locked for political discussion, which is against the rules.

The PLEX for GOOD task force was set up in order to assist those who have been adversely affected by natural disasters around the world.

Given our will to remain as neutral as possible, PLEX for GOOD will not be used to fund relief efforts for charities relating to any form of war or armed conflict.
