API has expired - instantly

Don't bite me for this post (unless it's for recreational purposes). If it's in the wrong place, I welcome the move.

New 'puter. New EFT/EVEMon install. Generate API (with "no expiry" checked). IT gins up a number. I paste it into either EFT or EVEMon and get an error: API has expired.

Suggestions? Hints? Tips? Thanks in advance.

Did you wait the hour or whatever it says before it becomes active?

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

Well...no. It said it expired.

it takes "about" an hour for the API server to populate your new API Key. Until that happens, it has no info, and errors as "expired".
