Ah, so you are displeased with the SQUIRREL!!!! methodology of problem resolution employed by CCP? It worked so well for the Dustbunnies when their uprising was quelled by the addition of image signatures.

Lovely : )

No joke here. There are times in my life when I don't get to log in for months. Playing a game is not my highest priority but there are times when I want to just play around between projects as well.

The limits on the que were a pain in the ass. Yes I've been here since 2006 and can remember the days of getting up early to put in a skill, but when I am AFK, I really mean AFK like, there's no keyboard at all.

I know people are going to whine now, they will whine about whiney carebears wanting an easy mode because the que will be longer. As if "he who has no life and can nurse a skill que wins" is not easy mode. Those of us who have to pay their own rent will like this change.

I've been a slave to that skill queue for... so long, it has now grown into a built in reflex, to check
dat queue, everyday when I get back home from work What?

It's like, setting an old institutionalized person free...

Im sure it's a good thing though, good stuff. Cool

The unlimited que would allow more "shake and bake alts". Yeah I know people will complain about character selling (which is legal in the game BTW).

What I mean is, when training an alt up for a specific role, what do you do with it in the meantime? The unlimited que would allow us to set up characters with specific goals and lay out the training ahead of time.

The only thing I am worried about is the restriction regarding queing up skill not yet trained for, even if the skill required is being trained for previously in the que - but then a skill cannot be injected until certain requirements are met too - this too creates an obstacle for a "fire and forget" (or come back in 6 months) skill que.

Hopefully being able to inject a skillbook in the que becomes possible. Yeah I know the hurf blurf crowd will find it grating for something to be easier, as if having to log in and inject a skill and set the que is going to somehow give them an opportunity to gank your rookie ship or something and their game will be ruined now that we don't have to. But an infinite que without provisions for skill injection and dependency filling automatically won't amount to the kind of differences we envision.

This is a great feature..... why in the world would someone not want this. I for one don't want to live in this game, although it is fun, it's just one of many games and things I do in my life.

Great feature along with the multiple sell orders...good stuff.

Picard and Dathan, at El-Adrel.

And I actually like the unlimited skill queue idea. I'll still log in and play, though.

It's so funny, since a while ago with one of my many alts at the time, I made numerous posts about getting this feature in game...

Of course the TROLLS just shot it down as always and now it's being implemented.

Just shows that there is no place in gaming for any type of response to any OP posts, as they are nothing but trash talk and will add absolutely no constructive value (including this response) other than to incite a sort of Forum PVP.

Great Feature.... and now I will vote for banning troll posters in the forum.

The alternative would have been SP accumulates whenever no skills are training like it does in pathfinder Online.

But meh, either works - good change.

I for one am pleased with this announcement.

Last year I had what I like to call a 'hostile vacation' for a length of time , during which I would not able to log in to my account. I literally wouldn't even be able to update skill queue. This ultimately resulted in me making the decision to un-sub for said period.

If I would have had unlimited skill queue and could have loaded it up for 180+ days (I'm sure I could find a way), I happily would have remained subbed.

I welcome this change in anticipation of similar future events. I understand some bitter-vets oppositional stances, but for people like myself who have very explicit and unavoidable comittments, this is a sort of salvation.

Now if only CCP allowed us to keep our training going when jumping clones. Nothing is more worse than forgetting to turn on your skill queue again.

Good news!

This kind of inactive player base will fuel CCP's funding. So that CCP can do more things for the active player base. And there will be more unoccupied space and more funding, which benefits everyone!

This post sums up why the 'best' work with DCM inc.

WARP DRIVE makes eve boring
