C3 - Null static, anyone do this?

With how lucrative pretty much all sites/complexes/anything in NS are, has anyone lived in a c3 with NS static?

Thinking of moving into one, and just farming the NS stuff with Ishtars or something along those lines.

Anyone have firsthand experience with this that can share some info?

We live in a c2 with null and c5 statics. We mostly cant be troubled to rake up the isk, but when we do the null is often better isk than the c5. The wide variety of sites adds some entertainment value as well.

I am looking at the null static as both an avenue for isk, as well as some PvP with ganking nullbears doing their botting.

Is it viable for that?

Yes. You can pvp and pve in null.

I used to live in a C3 w/ K346. Logistics is a little harder than U210 but not much. You have to take a good hisec route when you get one, but other than that it's no worse than some C4's. The ISK in null is good especially now you have reasonable data and relics, and drone combat signatures (Hierarchy, etc) have a chance of dropping Nestor BPCs. You will have trouble some days from being camped in, but that's usually an hour or two and then the nullbears get bored. Every so often they'll hotdrop 2 Aeons onto your hole. This is when you need friends in high places.

PVP wise, podding is especially problematic, so you need probing alts times eleventy billion, especially for a smaller corp.

Give it a shot.

I would go with a C2-Null. You'll have much easier access to highsecs via C5 space

I found the pve in C3 with a nullsec static to be rather lackluster, however I loved the pvp opportunities the hole provided. The logistics were extremely easy to handle with as long as you planned properly in advance (like having enough fuel stored up etc.). If not for the isk making opportunities, I never would have moved out of there.

I've moved from living in a C4 towards living in a C3 with null sec static.
So far i'm enjoying it. The pvp possibility's are great and you can easily start roams from a nullsec exit for sure.

PVE wise it's not bad either. Most of the PVE sites in nullsec can be soloable.
I like the solitary life you can have in a c3 > nullsec wormhole.
Most of the other wormhole connections you'll be getting are C2's and C4's, and occasionally you get a direct
low-sec or high-sec connection. Logistics wise it's managable.

Also I did not know the Hierarchy sites in nullsec dropped Nestor BPC's, FML for skipping them X
I'd say try it out!

Well to put it into context, it would be a "solo" endeavor. I run four accounts, one with scanners/pi, the other 3 with combat. Among other things I've recently trained the three combat pilots to be able to use t2 heavies/sents, and dominix/ishtars. Was basically just planning on either RR domi's or ishtars for the null/c3 sites.

For pvp I would probably only run two accounts using Gecko Stratios or some variant of that. While I am extremely good at multitasking, multiboxing 3 for pvp may be a little problematic. I think my only issue would be no forward scouting. I do have the ability to use Blops + covert jump portals, but that is something I doubt I would try any time soon. It had crossed my mind to get all pilots flying the same Blops (possibly Sin's) and dropping them into their own sites/bring them back to where the hole is. It may be something I start working towards sooner than later.

Lowsec nerds have been doing this to run deds in lazymode for a while now. It works pretty well.
