I think that we will have to wait until Monday, when the Devs are around to accept and tally the contracts assigned to the 4 faction representatives. I doubt that they will be working on this over the weekend. My recent contracts to Auvier Bauvon have not yet been accepted, for example.

I don't think that there is a holiday on Monday in Iceland, so we should assume that there will be some update on that day, prior to the finish.

I've run the query for today and updated the numbers in the second post. Looks like the strong start by the Amarr has motivated everyone else!

  • Caldari - 168,564

  • Amarr - 152,740

  • Minmatar - 135,430

  • Gallente - 127,683

These estimated numbers include contracts that haven't been accepted yet (since those will need to wait until Monday) so aren't set in stone. And of course we still have ~2.5 days left in this suddenly close race!

A good showing by the four empires. The Independent campaign has not been idle, either. We have pledges now from several large wormhole entities and we now have 23 donors.

Our total is 106,505. The new push from Minmatar has spared them the embarassment of being passed by a no-name gunboat pilot from Intaki IV. We're not done yet, though. Not by a long shot.

CCP Fozzie's numbers include contracts not yet accepted, and mine are tentative as well. I'm away from my usual keyboard at the moment, so these numbers are actually from around 20:00 EVE Time, 10/11. I may have new donations by now. Also, I've received 26,000 points worth of donations in the form of ISK. I haven't converted this ISK to blue loot yet, so there's likely a small amount of overestimation in here. On the other hand, I also know that I have at least 6k in donations waiting for me when I get back, if EVEMail is to be believed.

I'll have more accurate numbers on Monday.

There's been an impressive amount of movement in the numbers. Kudos to all donors!

It hasn't been released as to what the new technology will be yet has it ? It might not be T3 related at all although I suppose as the items required are from Sleeper wrecks the new tech would have to have some connection with wormholes.

There don't seem to be any clues in the reports from SOE. They alluded to changed behaviour, but not how the behaviour of sleeper drones has changed. So it's a big open question as to what, precisely, this new tech will be.

Or has there been a noticeable change to capsuleers in wormholes as well?
