Need non-Steam login, can't file new ticket.

Normally when I start the launcher I get this big "play" button on the left side that logs me in automatically, using Steam's login info. Starting late last week, now it's asking me for login credentials which I obviously don't have. I can't file a new ticket because I already have one pending, which seems to mean I'm completely unable to play the game until my first issue gets resolved (which may be impossible since I can't... y'know, login). I'm trying to be patient but if this goes on much longer I can't really justify paying a sub for a game I can't physically access. I ran that launcher update file thingy ( http://cdn1.eveonline.com/EveOnlineLauncher/release/EVEOnlineLauncher_2_1_826897.exe ) and it didn't do anything. I've validated my game files through Steam and re-downloaded the patch two or three timesnow. No dice.

I've heard that CCP will give a non-Steam login on request and transfer my game time over? This is driving me insane.

I really hope this is true.. I fully regret paying for EVE online with a steam account.. I can't access the game due to this error:

The authentication token provided by the launcher is of an invalid format. Please try again or contact EVE customer support.

I might give it a go asking if they can do a transfer then.

Yeah, I'm just so used to getting my games through Steam I didn't really think twice about it, but people kept telling me what a bad idea it was and I'm starting to see why. I just completely reinstalled the game and it didn't do a damn thing. I'm guessing this is more on Steam's end than CCP, but I don't care--I still want a CCP login so I don't have to deal with this anymore.

Well I dropped them an e-mail asking if they'll provide a non-steam login, but I'm guessing I will be waiting a day or two for a reply... Really annoying as I was really looking forward to playing EVE again... Hopefully it'll all get sorted, else I'll have to ask for a refund or something. Ugh

in rare cases (ones per months maybe or even rarely) i get such error. I simply restart steam client an it helps.
