Graphics on TQ won't match native res, but will on SiSi [Fixed]

I bought a new laptop yesterday, did a clean install of EVE and sisi.

For some reason, the graphics are different between them.

Using the TQ client in windowed mode, my resolution does not go passed 1536 x 814. However, going on SiSi, also in windowed mode, and my resolution increases to 1920 x 1017. All the other graphics settings are the same, I've tried reoptimizing for Performance, Quality and Memory, nothing changes, double checked the directx being used, both are running dx11.

This is starting to get really annoying, considering how much different the game looks when in full HD.

I am running Windows 8.1 and have a GTX 870M GPU.

Anybody have any suggestions?

EDIT: I fixed it by moving between fullscreen and windowed mode a few times, must be something to do with detecting my native screen res.
