This is what I have, something in between the two E-Uni fits. Honestly the t2 hardeners are worth it, same with t2 BCUs, and t1 drones will work fine

also I wouldn't ever run level 3 missions again without a prop mod fit at all times. Might need to make a change here or there depending on skills but overall pretty easy to fit.

Agreed, the "L3 Mission Basic" drake on their site really should not be used unless you really can't wait to sit in your Drake. T2 tank should definitely be prioritized and the prop mod will cut down mission times considerably.

Put at least one rigor catalyst rig, so you can shoot destroyers with decent damage application, and do somewhat good against those pesky elite frigs (I noticed elite frigs often switch aggro on your drones, so you have to recall them often).
AB is very situational. I have found only a couple of missions would need an AB. In most other missions, you can slowboat to the next gate while killing everything, or if they spawn far, they will get withing range while you are killing the previous spawns.
And as poster above said - seriously put 4 damage mods in lows.

edit: and use T2 rigs. you dont need the skills to put them (a known issue), but you can train it to reduce drawbacks.

Thank you very much for your replies.
I have a caracal .
I am making level 2 missions with my caracal and a friend of mine told me that it could be possible to make level 3 missions with a caracal.
I tried to make a level 3 mission with my caracal and and i nearly lost it. Happily, i warped immediately at the mission Portal to War 2 of 5

Thats what I do when I have to run lvl 3 missions. U shouldnt have to be even close to losing it. Stay at long range and fit a MWD. Tank is not important

What is a MWD?
Sorry for my bad english
What i like with the Caldari ships is the possibility to aim at a long range.
But when the pirats arrives suddenly at 4000 m, it is a bit difficult

Do you think also that a medium or a large shield booster is necessary?

I dont even active tank it. Dunno why, probably because I dont care about tank when Im 60+ km away.

With avarage skills u should get about 200-230 DPS at 65-70 km away. Put 2 rigor catalysts in rigs.

MWD=Microwarp drive. That should keep u outside range of anything that can hurt u. Everything in missions (cept burners) are slow so no worries.

Oh and again. 4 DMG mods in lows on that caracal

Hmls mostly just got a range nerf, dps took a bit of a hit to I think. And yea an active tank is probably a bit better, but the drake doesn't really do enough damage where I'd care too much about having 2, 3, or 4 bcus. More is better of course, bit whend starting out, meh
