I got an new computer setup recently. After moving my setup a little I had an really empty wall.

Got some nice EVE posters, I really like them.

Also are you a flight simmer? I noticed you have a TM Warthog and that screams flight simmer to me.

I tried DCS a few times but always unsuccessful. Haha. :)

How is the clarity up close?


It's very clear for the highres pictures. The EVE Battle screenshot is okay as well. The resolution was "only" 4k but it looks still very nice. Only if you go really close right infront of it you can see pixels a little.

Both are 21:9. The bottom one is 34" 3440x1440 and the top one 25" 2560x1080.

Both have the same PPI and look very sharp and clear. I tested an 4k monitor as well. Its cool for games but the desktop experience on an 4k monitor is more then horrible. (everything to small, scaling doesn't work for most programs)

Flight simmer here. DCS, FC3, and F4BMS. Been playing since Jane's F-15.

I'd kill for a complete overhaul of Jane's F-15 and Jane's F/A-18. Amirite? I'm not talking Team Super Hornet, I'm talking a completely new sim.

Yeah but I actually am getting tired of ED and their one-trick pony approach to flight simming. I like the hyper-realism but they have to bring something else to the table besides eye candy and a mission editor. People have been screaming for a dynamic campaign since Flanker 2.0, but they seem content to write ramp start checklists.

Very nice setup. I've seen the LG 3440x1440 monitor in a local shop nearby, but haven't seen the 25" one before. Is that also from LG?

Also, why would you say that 4k monitor is bad for usual desktop experience? I would like to know 'cause I'm looking around & thinking about buying a 4k monitor at some point.
