The Empires Are Lying

The Empires have put out requests for sleeper research components, each of them in turn, in what is clearly a bid to appear as if they are competing with one another.

However, all of the empire representatives are members of their respective navies who were involved in the botched pirate lab raids with CONCORD. Are we forgetting that Auvier Bauvon of the Gallente navy is the same pilot who bubbled his own fleet in nullsec, resulting in it being massacred by capsuleer alliance fleets at sniper range? This entire thing seems to me like a farce. Its clear that these pilots are working together on behalf of CONCORD or some other intergovernmental organisation.

Its being held out to us, the capsuleers, the ones who ultimately have the resources, as if our only choice is to help one empire or the other. But that is not the only choice, Guillome Renard of Arek'Jaalan and Sleeper Social Club is starting an opposing collection.

His action is one I strongly support. The Empires attempt to make us compete with one another for their benefit. 'Oh you'd better give the Minmatar research materials, you wouldn't want those evil Amarrians to come out ahead' and the reverse. Its all very convenient when you get the research materials regardless of which side we give it to.

Guillome Renard offers us an alternative to the Empires entirely, putting our futures into our own hands and preventing us from being the pawns of the governments. We will make our own sleeper research labs, with blackjack and hookers!

To this end, the newly completed Urado Tower complex in Foundation City is being opened up as a secure research site for Arek'Jaalan, within Anoikis itself. We'll be making a full announcement regarding that in the near future, as well as discussing how laboratory usage and access could be negotiated.

In this instance though, right here in the next week, we're going to have a chance to stand up to the Empires. To show them that we can beat them at their own games. That we will not let them use us, and we're fully capable of taking advantage of the sleeper components ourselves.

As the trading of these sleeper components is part of the core economic activity for many capsuleer operations in Anoikis, the nerve of the Empires to ask for them for free is all the more galling, and I for one will not allow myself to be manipulated in such a manner.

Through the distorted lens I found a cure.

The CONCORD is that intergovernmental organization.
However, it doesn't control Empires in the sense it can control... US.

We are, technically, CONCORD pets. CONCORD pays us, CONCORD sets our security status and access to systems, CONCORD can with 105% guarantee success destroy any given capsuleer vessel at any time in their controlled space, because of their inflluence on our subsystems, that makes their ships appear "unbeatable".
On other hand, CONCORD can't match to regular "baseliner" vessels, and without that control over us can be killed incredibly easy, as I heard from pilots, who were getting assignments by pirates to attack CONCORD, who weren't expecting capsuleers.

But it is not just Empires, who are lying. You could have told me that yourself, when I asked. But, very well, your assets - means you can do whatever you want with them. I don't feel it will bring any profit, but good luck, in whatever you are doing.

Diana, I like you better without sunglasses. You have pretty eyes, dear. It's a shame to hide them.

I suggest selling Neural Network Analyzers to me at 150k p.u. ...

As far as I'm concerned some of those pilots deserved to be bubbled, but more likely knowing the empires' state of politics and flying in space......wrong button.

The current numbers (as provided by the authorites) are as following:

Error! This list is wrong! Concord Communication personnel relayed the wrong info!

  • Amarr - 88.851

  • Caldari - 119.203

  • Gallente - 15.650

  • Minmatar - 15.354

  • Independent - 11.092

Caldari are clearly in the lead, followed by Amarr. Considering the lack of coverage of the Independants (Guillame Renard's effort) they are doing rather well.

Lets see what the coming days will bring!

Correct list:

  • Amarr - 132.301

  • Caldari - 76.976

  • Gallente - 54.980

  • Minmatar - 13.130

  • Independent - 13,082

Amarr are clearly in the lead, with Caldare & Gallente following in a solid 2nd & 3rd place. Minmatar are lagging severely behind & have to keep an eye out that their research accumulation won't be beaten by the independents.

Of course they're lying, it's the extent to which the individual empires are lying and the ends to which they're lying that are material to our interests as citizens.

I have to admire the Caldari love of country, particularly for the nation which is the least dishonest (while we're on the topic of official state lies) about its disdain for its citizens.

Hey, considering the numbers I could help the Amarr win this ...
... but I won't. *snickers xD*

Diana will be proud. :)

The State provides best conditions for those, who are competetive and bring good profits to the State.
The State disdains only those, who disdain the State themselves. If they don't need the State - the State doesn't need them.

Besides that, the State is neither corporation, nor assets, nor planets, systems and colonies. The State is PEOPLE. Caldari people, children of Raata and those, who wish to stay with us and become our brothers and sisters, to work together as one, for bright future of our children.

Just make sure you aren't a war hero which sacrificed its chance to fire to save their home world.......then the caldari government will make you drink suicidal tea. Other than a few querks sure it's a great place to live.

Jaijii will never understand concept of sacrifice, and that nobody makes you drink the tea. It is your decision.
It is an act of will, that jaijii could never take themselves, that's why they claim that "government will make you drink suicidal tea".
And just think about it, how absurd it sounds: "To make you drink suicidal tea". Won't it be a suicide, if you are "made" to drink it?...
In the old times a gallentean for saying this could be beheaded on the spot for showing such disrespect.

The CEP is not the State.
The CEP is a corporation to regulate affairs between corporations of the State and establish common practices for dealing with foreigners.

In the case of the State, if you would be a citizen, your "government" would be megacorporation CEO and its board of directors. As we can see, in some cases they can lie to people, take for example this Mens Reppola, who is driving Ishukone away from the State, making it a traitor of all the Caldari people.
I hope that the good citizens of Ishukone will open their eyes sooner to see what snake currently holds their corporation and will do something about it already, before something really bad happens.

Everybody lies - it's hardly news. Wouldn't be surprised if this is just an attempt to slow something inevitable down.
