There is a distinct pause after I have chosen a character (from the opening selection screen) to the part when you
see the ingame UI/station itself. During the pause itself, only a black screen and the notification icon is visible.

My best guess is that the notification is still populating its list, before I am shown the rest of the screen. My concern here
is I might be logged off in space and my ship may be already at the end of the warp-back and is already vulnerable during this 'blackout' phase.

The character watchlist, on notification of login I am unable to drag-drop that notification to e.g. fleet window to invite character, or right-click and do actions on that character - etc.

I would like to support this feature - would be wonderful if you guys could add that. Besides that - fantastic idea to give us this!

I'll also echo the sentiments posted by others:
· Lack of right-click functionality for watch list notifications (particularly the ability to initiate private chat)
· Missing color tags for standing on watch list notifications

One feature that would be beneficial is if you could right-click on the red notification 'flag' to directly clear notification history as opposed to having to open notifications, click on settings and then click on the clear history button.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

Feature request.

1) Notification presets similar to overview presets.
Purpose: only show notifications related to current activity.
Explanation: in theory, all notifications are relevant in some context. In practice, I don't need an industry popup during a fight. But I could use a bounty one to keep track of fleet kills, for example. Manually going through a myriad of checkboxes each time you want to turn left instead of right is a hassle. I want an easy option to switch betweeen activities.

2) Notification filter similar to inventory one.
Purpose: quick lookup of specific notifications.
Explanation: imagine I have multiple characters in watchlist and want to do a quick lookup regarding a specific character activity. A simple word filter could do the trick.

the char online/offline notifications need the standings icon added to them, so people can tell quickly if hostiles or friendlies came online.

Can the little icon please be hidden while all notifications have been read? It's really annoying currently that I have to build my other UI windows around it (yes, even if it's that small).

When adding a contact to Watch List I see two appearances of the contact in Notifications. Not sure if that is as intended, but it would seem a single appearance would be more efficient and enough to let me know the contact has been added.

Love the new notification system, any chance we could incorporate this idea in the near future?

As the sovereign owner of a system I want to be able to setup messages based on pilot standings that will popup in the new notification system whenever someone comes into a system.

So if you're a neut and you enter system x from any gate you'll see a message saying "Hi there, we shoot neuts" or "feel free to dock and follow this link to see the laws of our system"

That same system will have different messaging if you're a red, "This system is owned by 'X' and you are red to us, beware" etc...

This will help new players and veterans alike communicate and potentially enable the freeport and NRDS methodologies that may allow for trade hubs to spring up in null after the new changes come out.

Obviously players can opt out of these messages in the new system but it would be nice to be able to tell people that when they enter a system they are safe to dock and buy things at the station or warn them that they are now set to red and should GTFO before they get themselves swatted.

Just an idea, I'd love to get feedback.

Why not integrate the notification system to the already present top left corner information area Question

The top left is very nice sleak, inconspicuous. Why the need to introduce a moveable button when you already have a well designed area for that?

I like what you've done with the new system. I was very excited to try it out, hoping that I would finally be rid of the annoying downtime notifications that require you to interact with them before they go away. I know you're adding more notifications to this system as it develops and I just wanted to put in my $.02 for which notifications should be added next.

If you add the downtime notifications to this system and remove the window that you have to interact with I(and many others) will be forever grateful. Much of my gameplay time is during the hour before DT and it is annoying to click OK on a bunch of windows on a bunch of clients before you can do anything else. I've definitely lost kills before because the downtime notification window popped up right as a potential victim broke their gate cloak and began warp.

Overall I like it and am anxious to see where it goes in the future.

would love to see a "mission objective complete" notification if possible... save some time navigating to the journal and opening up the details to check if/when done

As an option maybe. Generally - not a good idea.
The top left corner is all good and nice until you realize there's "align to top" option for hud.

For example, my screen layout looks like this

I would generally like to move the HUD as left as possible to make space for more locks, but then the info-corner starts getting in the way (esp. if there's an influence bar). It's on top of the hud and messes with the left set of buttons and the capacitor circle.

Also spreading info corner further down would in this case screw with broadcast history.

It would be nice to have an option to clear the history of the new notifications on the window, rather than going through the options to clear it.

Another idea is to have options to adjust how loud the sound bit plays when a new notifications pops up, and an option to repeatedly play that sound in case the player is afk. Maybe even some variety of sound clips could be added, like one for war, one for a contact coming on/offline, etc
