Yes, the name sounds stupid, but, if we are expected to move capitals gate-to-gate in the future, doesn't it make some sense to have a capital-sized MJD?

There are obvious pros and cons to this module, of course. Some may feel it makes traveling through the inevitable swarms of bubbles too easy, others that it will open up more fitting options and tactical choices.

I am not advocating for this new module, just curious if we are likely to see such a module, or if people feel strongly one way or the other.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

No the idea behind it is to make it easier to use gates safely. Capitals will be plenty safe with a proper support fleet but solo they should be extremely vulnerable

I might say maybe if i didnt try out the max warp speeds myself. 6.77AU/s with 3 mods and implant set, still has 4 slots left for tank, damage, etc. I thought it was ridiculous at first before i tired it and now im a little concerned. When they came out with the warp rigs and warp speed modules and implants i imagine their target was freighters and they didnt see this change coming down the road.

With access to gates and these modules they are very mobile relative to their size and power.

Giving them an MJD would make them even more mobile.

It is hard enough getting a BS off a gate or wormhole before being scrammed, a CMJD would be...well, no solution at all. All it would do is alllow ratting carriers to teleport 100km the moment a neut comes into Local, thereby increasing their safety margin times eleventy.

I think this is a good change. Warp disruptors are too much of an impact on capital ships in the game

I agree. We wouldn't want to make ratting carriers safer.

Personally I wouldn't want to see this module even though there is some appeal to the notion of being able to throw my dread or carrier 100km away from in-coming tackle then jump to an out cyno.

If this ever happens, I too will be seeing how far I can bump stuff with a carrier.

granted due to the sheer mass of carriers you would probably top out on a normal fit at like 600m/s - 800m/s
Nano bump carrier could probably go 1.5km/s, but at that point its easier to bump the carrier with a vagabond and then the now speeding carrier rams into its target like dominos

10/10 though would buy

Gata-to-gate would be easier fixed with the addition of 1000mn AB and MWD... Or something third...

The third option is Exotic Dancers ( Female ) Right?
Or was it spirits and tobacco?

No, I want to see fleets of caps being forced to use pings and burn slowly through stacks of bubbles on every outgate.

I think Titan pilots everywhere want to see this...

Like I said, I'm not advocating for this module. If the community consensus is that it is a terrible idea, I'd prefer the developers know this before they introduce it.
