C2 Wolf-Rayet BC fits?

I've recently moved into a C2 Wolf-Rayet wormhole, which means massive boosts to armor and some ugly hits to shield resists. As such I've been thinking maybe a standard Drake fit wouldn't be the best idea for taking on sleepers in here.

Can anyone suggest a BC fit which would be good for taking on these sleepers? I've been thinking Myrm or Brutix since I've been training Gallente for L4s anyways, and the armor boost would work well. Or is the Drake still the go-to choice even with the reduced resists?

I like the Rail Gnosis personally.

The Gnosis aligns out very quickly, which is why I'm recommending it. If cloaky hostiles come that aren't in a SB (and Blops I think?), you should be able to warp out in time because of the lock delay. A Brutix, while a better ship for the job, won't give you that option.

The G-no also sports 6 mids, which gives you room for all sorts of utility.

Hey guys.

bc can probably do it even though slow :)
Best ship for c2's i found out is heavy assault cruisers or T3 or battleships due to the sometimes far away spawn ranges.

Any armor BC will work really, I've done C2s in a Harbinger, Brutix, Myrmidon, Hurricane, just fit around 200+dps omnitank cap stable and you should be able to solo C2s easily.

Here's my fit. Comments are welcome. If it's not T2, I probably can't fit it (yet). The explosive rig is there to plug a hole in my armor resists. If anyone has ideas on what to put in the extra high I'm open to suggestions, but a cloak will kill my scan res so I'm reluctant to fit that.

DPS: 385.4 guns + 64.4 drones = 449.8 total
Range: 16/29 km
37.2k EHP with DC active
54 armor/s repair rate

Capacitor lasts over 9 minutes without AB, only 4 minutes with.

You're on the right track but with low skills that tank is a little too weak, you might want to try an extra repper and more capacitor modules till you get better skills, the benchmark I used was around 200dps tank which your fit doesn't get, also with the weak cap you'll struggle against that one C2 BS that neuts.

Yeah, the tank/cap situation is a little perilous, I've had to do some strategic retreats to reposition when battleships show up. I could sacrifice a magnetic stab for another tank and the AB for another cap charger (AB is a cap hog anyways).

So far I've actually had a little better luck with blasters, since it lets me get up close to the battleships so they can't hit me. Also helps with frigates.

I would strongly suggest upgrading to EANMs rather than regular adaptives. running that fit as is, with all skills 5 leaves almost 200 CPU left over, and the extra resists probably push the overal cap situation solidly in a good direction through less intensive use of the rep.

For c1/c2 in general, use something with heavy pulse lasers. The killspeed with scorch/conflag is just on another level compared to drones, missiles, rails and artillery.

So:

Zealot (needs 2/3slot tank)
Legion (can do 1slot tank, meaning 4 HS, 1 TE, 2 TC, Sebo)

One of those two and you're certainly doing it the best way. Running a c1 site took about 3 minutes, c2 between 4 and 6mins. (Edit cause of new old RR)

Hi there Jur ;)

Here's a fit that gets you 650 odd dps with 240dps tank. Cap stable at 40+ %.
If you have skills that give you more PG, you can upgrade those guns to neutrons.
I personally prefer warriors for a couple reasons (they're faster, so if they do get shot at you can pull them in quicker and if you get dropped on by an interceptor or something, they'll handle the situation so much better than hobgoblins)

If you still have cap issues, you can drop the tracking comp for another cap recharger bringing it up to 50+%.
You don't really need a Webifier, for frigates just let your drones do the work and you can track bigger things.
