Most of the stuff I play runs a bit better with nvidia so I just tend to stick with them.

Those new GTX900 series cards seem to have a pretty reasonable TDP, gonna pick one of those up soon and replace my aging AMD CPU/motherboard as well.

My storage system, memory and power supply are all less than a year old. I guess it will basically be a whole new computer here soon. Lol

Marketing probably thought it was too similar to some other parts so they just went with GTX900

The whole 'pc means personal computer' thing needs to stop. Nobody has used it in that sense for a very long time. The common meaning of terms change. Grow up.

My new i7-4790k and GTX980 say they are superior to consoles but I'm not sure if I believe them or not.
