Great gifts, yes, I will not lie about that. However....

What about the people who make destroyers?
What about the people who make POS fuel blocks?
What about the people who sell implants with LP?
What about the people who sell faction ammo with LP?

All of the above people are getting boned by the promotions. CCP is breaking the sandbox by spawning items from magic GM powers that are normally player created and/or player seeded on the markets. This sets a very dangerous precedent for future NEX Store / promotions. The only thing on the list that is a true gift is the remap. Anything else is intentionally f*cking the people who normally work those markets.

My $0.02, not trolling for once.

I make a good bit of isk selling faction ammo and i have no problems with the gift selection. If anything i won't sell any for a few weeks, and instead buy at the rock bottom prices, and sit on it until the market comes back up on it.

really its a few free ships and implants, the ammo is pretty meaningless, a small bump in a brisk market

I kind of see it as a way to encourage pvp, its all oriented to combat for the most part, then vanity then temporary buffs and ammo

don't want to risk that set of +3s, well here's another, go get podded
wanna try the new destroyers? have a few, burn em up, we'll even throw in the ammo, and you'll get back the hull value if insured
wanna run that extra tough mission? have a buff
or if nothing else, here's some ammo

the fuel BPs make sense as most people serious about fuel wont be buying it in jita anyway and will buy the npc seeds

shuttles? who cares?

Yeeeess neural remap

Now when I finish training every skill with operation, management and upgrades in its name, I can actually remap and start training spaceships and gunnery at unretarded speeds for the next 9 months.

lol... no one has ever said that phrase in honesty. (If people aren't trolling, it doesn't even occur to them to say it. Only trolls feel the need to add the disclaimer.)

OP, though trolling, is correct. Giving 150M worth of crap to everyone is way too much pee in the sandbox and sets a horrible precedent.

Your posts are unrelentingly negative. Guess that is what getting your lips caught in a pool drain will do.

Seriously lay off the collagen... bee-stung lips look really ridiculous on a man.

The only market that will be unduly affected, IMO, are the basic implants. However people who sell implants with LP have plenty of other options for LP conversion, including +4 and +5 implants.

Fuel blocks give enough fuel for 1 day for 1 of each large tower. The market will easily be able to absorb the gift.

I have a feeling that people who choose either the faction ammo or destroyer rewards will be more likely to use them than sell them. Maybe they will sell the "useless" types of faction ammo, but I doubt the "useless" faction ammo was ever a good LP conversion in the first place.

Anyways the T1 market already has paper thin margins - if it crashes, people will just buy up the destroyers and refine them. If it doesn't crash that far, it will be an investment opportunity, and somebody will step in to take advantage of it.

What is even more likely, is that there will be a nice spread of gifts chosen by players, so no market will be unduly affected.
