ANTI PIRACY INTEL JOINT OPERATION BOARD - APIJOB - channel is active - WE NEED MODERATORS, OP, WE NEED EVERYTHING! GIVE MERCS SOME JOBS TO DO!

This channel is for alerts on groups of pirates-gankers in mission hi-sec areas. Run by mission pve player, pvpers and pro Hunters.
Is a community based project. Under development and open source.

How it works:
Missioner leave alerts for possible gankers in or nearby systems.
Known gankers and alts will be blocked from the channel view.
ONce someone get ganked, in say, a Marauder in bastion mode or on a gate exit, and it is not wardeck gank, its pirate gank, he can drop a line with name of system, immediately Hunters from mercs corp or should X up, the WOLF is the attacked pilot. So, the WOLF form a fleet and drop a line, invite who x up and wait for reinforce, try to hold.
Who comes first, Concord or Hunters? An attack with no delay in a 0.5 sec system will take Concord quite a bit. If Hunters are ready, they'll beat them on time. A Bastion marauder know 30 sec before is going to be ganked, he can't move, if he's away from entrance spot. This fewe second could mean diff bw life and death. And if not saving hull, Hunters could try save loot at least.

Edit: Pro hunters from Mercs corp would provide a general sense of security, the main problem with this channel is the duology of character, being gankers and missioner and miner on three diff. accounts. and more. So to have a class of Hunters that uses this Intel channel for call to action, in major mission spots (Lann-Osmon-etcetc ) with the higher gank rate, that would prove fast in response and actually save ppl's marauder and pirates bs from being vaporized, even if T2 fit, just for pride or prejudice. It would definitely make this channel succesful.

So they know who and when they come. somone saif. Let them know. Let fear pass through their minds, I say. If are Hunters from well known Mercs corp who come to help... 400 hundreds known pirates for Osmon area had been banned from channel

Hunters and their corp will have prices for service, maybe a new corp, between a Salvager corp and a full hireable corp will born.

BY the way, RULE N4 is.... There is no n4 rule untill i say so...

This is a message channel under construction, lode yourself for what you achieve with your firends and estimates member of yours... I stick with TVP for respected ones...

This channel needs Mercs to apply as OP, once that is set, mission runner and miners will have a fast way to communicate with them. this is how. go back to school.

channel is entering new form. it's now anti-ganking. keep reading.
Reason to join in is that it will be possible to counterfight gankers by pve player and pvper with a little organization, and make it successfull, there has been days with over 40 gankers in a single system... its not doable from a bunch of ships... so it is to turn casual missioner in pvper the key to success, and making a basic hard-core fleet out of casual pve runner... that is quite a bet...

So you are trying to do Concord's work....just to get concorded? Wouldn't it make more sense to just have a channel to list suspects and their system in?

So basically you are making a channel to report Pirate activities in all space. You do realize that if you make it open to everyone and don't screen the members of the channel, you will just get spies in it from the pirates; and then you will fail.

Yeah.. It's not exactly hard to get a spy in there.. Lots of "pirates" have alts for money making, so they can just dump those in there and they wouldn't look suspicious.
Also, how will you beat concord? Unless you're already in system, they'll probably be faster than you. 19s response time in .5 systems. Unless they get sent out when pirates are in system, but haven't engaged, but that could easily be exploited to gank the hunters.
Gankers setup gankerbait that's got <-5 sec status (Free engage), they have an alt report the gankerbait, hunters arrive, hunters engage, hunters get scrammed and #rekt.

Sorry to pass urine on your parade, but there is no way that you will have mercs on stand-by, ready to react before concord does, even in 0.5 systems. Even if someone is ready, alert and will react in time to warp to the gank they might manage to get on an occasional killmail, and gankers don't care about that. GET REAL and read below:

Do preemptive strikes and suicide gank these suicide gankers before they suicide gank anyone, which in turn makes you a known suicide ganker ganker.
It's only a matter of time you will start suicide gank stuff other than other suicide gankers, which will make you a true suicide ganker in the end. So, things can only go downhill from now for you. Yep.

BUT, jokes aside, one proper thing you can do is to build a website database of known gankers, and add them as they show up, have regional channels devoted to spotting and warning people against them.

that is exactly as is supposed to work

- a miner - missioner - is alerted or call himself for possible gank attack - BEFORE THIS HAPPEN
- known gankers are listed and blocked - but that is no use for alts in the channel - but is save some time.
- people - not mercs - learn how to gank gankers thanks to pro anti-coder that have already proved their duties killing gankers.
- a fleet call will happen and trusted anti-ganker will join for the hunt.
- who want this service has to accept fleet and get in a suggested fit ship.
- when the gank its already on its way - ther's really not much to do - concord will be faster, no argue that.
- BUT. preforming a fleet and immediately call for help, foreseeing trouble, may get the anti-gankers ther before the attack start.
but i admit it, its very unlikely, unless a huge gank fleet roam the system for shinies and people is already on the alert.
- The only system for now supporting this idea is xxxxxx - No way it could be replicated without profi anti-coders.
- members allowed in fleet ARE listed as trusted members and only them can join fleet.
- Anyway, that do not prevent spies to disguise themself, or to have a double role. both ganker and anti-ganker.
- Its nonetheless another way to PVP in HS, that we haven't seen before.
