Jump Drive changes feedback - Houston, we have a problem.

WE cannot say anything about CCP's policy on this but you guys can. That is what you are here for.

You *CANNOT* have intelligent discussions in that single "feedback" thread. There is no chance for discussions there.

We need the ability to talk about each of the aspects in different threads or there will be *NO FEEDBACK WORTH TAKING IN*.

Any actual discussing will be shattered into pieces and no cohesive stream of thought or ideas can be followed by interested parties through such a massive thread filled with anger, cheers and jeers.

It is a set of very radical changes and the various aspects need to be gone across... Tons and tons of different things to be looked at, discussed, worked out and planned for.

Yes it needs civility enforced and avoiding slips to different aspects but not locking every single thread that mentions it in any fashion.

There have been some decent points of discussion gone across in various side-threads, all locked now and falling away. That is lost input for CCP. Go look at the locked threads for yourselves and use them as evidence - some follow pretty decent paths on the given aspects they touch on -- that won't happen from their monolithic feedback thread.

So - if the CSM wouldn't mind - contact CCP and stop this locking of every last thread touching on this topic. It does not help them nor the community and won't enable people to try and plan for changes -- nor provide intelligent and intelligible feedback.

Please Note: This is not anger at the ISD"s - they have their instructions but those instructions need to be addressed or the purpose CCP is trying to accomplish will be lost. Their idea of "1 spot" -- good in theory but is not working and won't draw intelligent discussions and debates.

Thanks.

Actually several people from ccp and csm waded through each and every sungle post, writing down the borught uo points, rewritting them in internal forums into smaller breakdowns.
On too of that in csm/ ccp chat channels there are several room for that, add the standard internal csm forum where each change is anniunced in a different post, and every dev blog is shared in advance.

Yes its overwhelming, and all the consequences are not calculated in, its goign to lead to ezciting game changes, good and bad. Its clear alot of wurry is in the logisitics / jf section, also consequence of jb use to your daily gameplay, and then there is the deathcloning, added discussion on fine tuning, and questions about intra and interregional traffic, and so on.

Ccp will update this with new dev blogs soon i goign to asume, as we get closer to the november release. If u have specific concerns mail me ingame, i still try to answer all mail hehe.

And yeah its a bit much lol, but i hooe this gives u some reassurance its nit a freighttrain out of control

I'm glad to hear at least that stuff is not fully being lost but stopping the discussions issue by issue...

Yet how is CCP putting together their blog without a lot of the details people are going across in side discussions?

There are a lot of discussions going on - across the web but *NOT* on their boards with these delete policies. They are losing the ability to capture those issues, thoughts and concerns -- often by people very knowledgeable being as "smarter" folks realize fast that they *CANNOT* discuss the issues here.

It's ... (god I hate saying it this way) -- an illogical approach to gathering intelligent feedback.

If there is useful discussion that you think CCP should see, put the results of it into the main thread.

Woo! CSM XI!
