Anyone tested louncher under win10 ?
I can't start eve under windows 10. After click on play nothing happening. I see on task menager that ccp exe file show up for a while ,but then dissapear and game won't start.

At log i see this:

Exefile SHUTDOWN Crashed (0xC0000005) for b832492, minidump written and uploaded in C:\Users\Tom\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\33532cd4-c77c-4cb4-abf0-83a0f21fa85b.dmp

In addition i'll say that game starts without any problem under my old windows 8, so this is some kind of problem according to a new system installation or directly to windows 10.
I tried to run in compatibility mode and as administrator, but it doesn't help.

Any ideas ?

I'm not sure what was wrong, but after windows reinstalation eve working again.
I reinstalled windows because first copy was created on virtual machine and then moved to pc, maybe that created some problem.

I got it to run by setting compatibility mode to windows 7 and checking the "Run as administrator".

Yeah try compatibility modes... Id try windows 8.1/8 compatibility mode for the performance.

If I am not mistaken windows 10 has DX12? could be a direct X compatibility issue because developers haven't played with it a ton yet...

Same problem. Changing capability mode & running under administrator does nothing.

Awaiting solution.

If you're still having problems here is what I did on my Windows 10

1 - Do All Windows Updates
2 - Go to PC Settings -> Update and Recovery -> Preview Builds and update to the latest build "9879"
3 - Do All Windows Updates again and double check because some updates may not install right.
4 - Right Click the EVE icon go to properties and Compatibility and Check Run as Administrator
5 - Go to User Account Controls and set it all the way down to disable them

After that my EVE runs great on Windows 7 but I use an AMD card which I also went to AMD and downlaoded the latest drivers for Windows 8 and Windows 7 64 Bit and I installed it on Windows 10 which worked fine for me.

Hope this helps

This worked for me
Bypassing the EVE Launcher

If your EVE Client has been updated, but the EVE Launcher is failing to start it, then it is possible to bypass the EVE Launcher. This is accomplished by navigating to the EVE Client application, and starting it.

On Windows the EVE Client application can be found at \CCP\EVE\bin\exefile.exe
On Mac OS X the EVE Client application can be found at Contents/Resources/Eve Online.app inside the primary EVE Online application. On Mac OS X you can run the client (cider) directly by running /Applications/EVE Online.app/Contents/Resources/EVE Online.app/Contents/MacOS/cider
