CCP, Can you please release the module that allows their frigates to yellowbox you at 800km?

I wouldn't mind them doing it if it was something that I could do as well.

Running around Null mining in a Prospect and I need to warp offgrid entirely in order to cloak since they can apparently instalock me again once I drop out of warp on the other side of the belt.

It's just annoying.

It tickles me to no end that people don't utilize the space that they pay for, so I like running around in it.

Especially with how few people you see in most systems.

Eve is a game, it is meant to be fun, it is not the pseudobusiness that some treat it as.

you don't need to warp offgrid, you can warp ongrid and as soon as warp starts everything will lose lock so you can cloak up.

You would think that, but when this happens they seem to maintain lock through the ongrid warp.

strange. never happened for me... only experience with gate rats though, no belt rats but they should be the same...

edit: are you sure you are at least 2km away from everything when starting warp?

Yeah, it has only happened twice that I can remember, though it was only with belt rats. IDK how far away from things I was when initiating warp.
