A winner has been declared, but we will not make the announcement public at this stage.

And Aestivalis? I would consider checking that your inertial dampeners are still working correctly. I know the crew don't feel a thing while pulling 4km/s in a Taranis.

...There's crew on a Taranis? Most frigates only have a Capsuleer. I would imagine this would especially be true for Interceptors.

Yes, there is crew on frigates, even capsuleer flown ones. A minimum of one crew member (if it's an exceptionally skilled one) would be required. There are resources available to give you an impression of crew requirements between different types of ships:
