Hotkeys and Esc. not working

I recently started back playing a few days ago and noticed my esc. key does not bring up the shortcut menu etc., and using the hotkeys does nothing. I have a fresh week old install of the client. I read an old post from the original forums in 2011, just wondered if anyone found a fix to this.

Do you mean that ESC does not work at all? If that's the case I had the same problem, Adobe Photoshop somehow hijacks the esc key, closing it fixes the problem.

If it's a problem where just the shortcut tab isn't appearing, I unfortunately haven't experienced it

In game the escape key doesn't close the screen and bring up the setting menu. Clicking it does nothing. And the keybinds does nothing either. After manually locking a target I hit E and F(couldn't remember the drone shortcut) and drones will not engage unless I right click the group then engage target,etc. I read a very old article where people had this problem but it was close a few years ago.

having the same issue, unless its in a textbox the client will not register keypresses
